Since 2012, the UTSA Roadrunners have started 11, 12, 11, 10, 8, 6 and 3 whites. In 2018 they are projected to start 4 white players.
Looking back at the numbers and the sudden decline of white players on the roster and starting for UTSA I went back and checked their record and program history. Former Miami Head Coach Larry Coker coached them in their first few years of existence and they were 8-4, 7-5, 4-8, 3-9 under Coker. Under the new black head coach who neglects recruiting white athletes they have gone 6-7 (bowl loss), 6-5, 3-9. Another Texas team neglecting the in state white football talent.
