This is my first women's tennis final I have watched, and it's amazing. Brutus Beefcake has already "screamed to the heavens" and looks like she's about to start sobbing at any moment. All the long faces in the crowd, especially the black celebrities looking devastated.

It's uncanny how often the last couple of years or so it's looked like Brutus was going to roll to another Slam title only to have one after another of her opponents rise to the challenge in the final. I hope this latest one actually has some staying power.

It's really unfortunate she had that rally, the crowd was completely dejected. If she won 6-1 they would have been crushed and I believe we might have seen another meltdown from the linebacker in a tutu.

I think that Andreescu can be a superstar for a long time. She is 19, athletic as they come and mentally tough. Very smart, confident and plays with a swagger. Love her attitude
and she didn't fear Serena Williams at all. Too many players get intimidated and they are beat before they step on the court. Williams is old, out of shape and lacks the stamina to
continue to win at such a high level. She is an aging beast trying to hang on just for the history books. Andreescu and others are the future. Love this girl.

Just saw the highlights. Lots of black celebrities in the crowd, not to mention many idiot white fans cheering for the obese LB from the top of their lungs. Looks like the loss also wiped that stupid, permanently implanted smile off the face of her “princess” friend:

Hilarious watching the crushed crowd. To make things even better Andreescu made the Orthodox cross sign after winning, which will have annoyed the disproportionately Jewish crowd. So the blacks lose and the Jews lose. A great Saturday.

BTW what about Meghan Markle, wife of Prince Harry, cheering for an American like Serena against a citizen of Canada - a part of the British commonwealth. I guess she can say, well, "I'm actually an American myself" but my guess is she sat in the Serena camp not because Serena is American, but because she is black. Blood is thicker...

Yes she had a shocked and terrified look like her beloved Archie was run over by a lorry on the Buckingham Palace grounds.

Seeing Spike Lee have the same look was precious, somebody should have interviewed Spike to see if he was attending the men's final tomorrow, crickets would have been the reply.
