Between 2005 and 2012 UCLA started 7, 7, 9, 10, 8, 4, 8, and 9 white players each season. No write-ups were done between 2013 and 2015. Between 2016-2018 they started 6, 8, and 3. In 2019 they look to remain at 3.
Not much to see except Chase Cota as a starting receiver, would be nice to see him emerge as the #1 option. He’s a true outside receiver at 6’4” 200lbs. His buddy Kyle Phillips is the #2 slot receiver and starting punt returner, he should get plenty of opportunities this year.
On defense there are no white guys that will likely even play. They have quite a few freshman DL/LB that hopefully will grow into important players in the coming years.
Offense
WR Chase Cota
LG Michael Alves
RT Jake Burton
Defense
None
Players to watch:
WR/PR Kyle Phillips, OL Lucas Gramlick, OL Sam Marrazzo, OL Alec Anderson
