Since 2005 UAB has started 5, 3, 5, 5, 5, 6, 2, 7, 8, 5 and 6 white players. The program dropped football 2015 - 2016 resumed play in 2017. Last year it was 6.......This season the Blazers are BUCKING the TREND Starting = 10!

The Blazers start 4 white players on Defense; not only impressive for a Southern school ; but that's more many teams up North & out West. This program also has several Walk-on WR's & DB's.
