Wisconsin likes to run the ball with a massive OL and make any RB that is fortunate enough to run through their gaping lanes a god in Madison. This years team will be no different with a stout defense as usual to match it.

The aspect of Wisconsin's offense that can push them to CFB playoffs is Alex Hornibrook in the passing game. He is coming off of a dazzling performance in the Orange Bowl against the turnover chain gang in what was a home game for Thug U in Miami. His 4 TDs were instrumental in Badger's come back win. Looks like he carried that success over to the off-season after winning the Manning College QB Passing Competition! If he can cut down his INTs sky is the limit.

OFFENSE

*Keep an eye on Jake Ferguson. Young athletic TE, HS WR of course. Grandson of Barry Alvarez .

OLB Andrew Van Ginkel 6'4 235 Sr. *looking to build on his 6.5 sacks as reserve last season!

Thanks Bucky.

Everything with the Badgers is way above average. Like their consistent ability to field white players on defense and in general they have been a team to root for over the years.

So why am I feeling a bit of a letdown. Simple. The (you guessed it) the WR position looks paltry in terms of white players. Maybe some are hidden on the two-three deep but it always casts a shadow when a team lacks any white WRs who can see the field.

At least Wisconsin has some white edge players on defense something I care a lot about. And of course having white DBs is becoming more and more important as too many teams have phased them out altogether.

They do play Groshek who quite frankly looked terrific last year. My guess is he builds on that as a key back up this season. And since the Badgers have a solid white foundation unlike so many other teams they most likely will be dedicated to actually block for a white RB.

Yes Shadowlight unfortunately there likely won't be any White WRs seeing the field for Wisconsin this year. Redshirt Freshman and Texas Native, Cade Green has an outside chance of PT, as well as former in-state Walk-on Jack Dunn. For that to happen injuries and suspensions will have to occur.

Two good short articles on 2 young guys(both redshirt freshmen)looking to start their journeys as key cogs on Badger Defense going forward.

Jack Dunn listed as starting punt returner. Former HS QB who was a formidable Dual Threat despite his size at 5'7 180lbs I view him in the Edelman mold. Very quick.

Garrett Groshek will be in the RB rotation! One of 3 Badger RBs that will see time behind Jonathan Taylor.

Looks like Jake Ferguson 6'5 245lbs will get the start at TE alongside Kyle Penniston, Zander Neuville is out with injury. Former HS WR who has bulked up yet retained his speed .
