Since 2005, the Hokies have started 5, 5, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7, 7, 7,8, 7, 5 and 6 white starters. In 2018 they start 5.
Justin Fuente continues the Beamer tradition of only recruiting black QBs - it must be an unwritten rule. I was surprised to see 3 or 4 white defensive players on the field at times during the first game of the season.
Players to look out for include WR/PR CJ Carroll, DE Vinny Mihota, LB Dax Hollifield
