Since 2005 Rutgers has started 6, 5, 8, 9, 11, 8, 4, 5, 4, 8, 6, 6 and 3 whites. They are projected to start 5 white athletes in 2018.
Rutgers hasn't been an interesting team since Brian Leonard played for them a decade ago. They will not be "must see" this year either. Highly touted Freshman QB Artur Sitkowski has shown some real promise in spring practice and is a threat to win the the starting job. WR Hunter Hayek and TE Travis Vokolek might also make a positive impact in the Big Ten.
