LB Mike Hull and C Jake Brendel are on IR. Rookie LB Quentin Poling a 7th rd pick, and C Connor Hilland are signed to the PS.

This years Dolphins look surprisingly good on offense! QB Ryan Tannehill returns after missing all of 2017 and he now looks to have the weapons to flourish this year. 2nd round draft pick out of Penn St. TE Mike Geisicki is a stud, and they boost a decent 3/5 white O-line to go along. The Fins also feature a rare 2 white WR's in starter Danny Amendola, and Tanner McEvoy who recently signed off the Seahawks waivers!
Defensively, LB Kiko Alonso has been the Dolphins best player in recent seasons! LB Chase Allen could push for a starting spot next to Kiko as the season wears on.

Miami’s rapid increase from 13 White men in 2017 to 20 this year has to be the biggest surprise in football. Now they need to be successful on the field to validate the head coach, GM or whomever is responsible for this change. I’ll be rooting for the Dolphins to finish in a strong 2nd place to the Patriots.

Gase jettisoned a lot of the useless sumos and brought some real O-linemen in, in Kilgore and Sitton. Jesse Davis could also be a diamond in the rough. I believe he was working on a farm in Washington state when he got a call from the Dolphins. Gone are the days of the turnstile twins Dallas Thomas and Billy Turner (I don't even think Dallas Thomas is in the league anymore) The bookends are still sumos and not coincidentally that's where their weakness on the O-line lies. The TE duo of Mike Gesicki and Durham Smythe should solidify that position for weeks to come (The TE position has haunted Miami for years) A lot of the prognosticators are predicting the Dolphins to finish at the bottom of the league (due to the loss of supa affletes Suh, Pouncey, and Landry) but as a fan, I really hope they surprise a lot of people. If it weren't for all the kneeling BS, I'd be really hyped up about this season.

Looking promising for The Dolphins! Wouldn't mind them challenging NE in the AFC East.
