Thanks for posting video of this race. I never could find a working link so I've had to see every race hours or days after they took place. So bummed out. Would have been better to watch it live. Regardless, this was incredible. He even ran fast than Kosta Kenteris of Greece when he ran a 19.85! Another legend that as he also won the world champs & euro champs golds over 200 meters and also the Olympic gold in 2000. Kenteris is no more guilty than anyone else of that era. So I could care less about what the allegations are. He is still a legend in Greece and they even named 2 ships after him as well as a street.

Ramil Guilyev is the King of the 200 Meters when it comes to championships. The guy has ice in his veins!

Wow he might of ran a 19.6x something time. He raised his hands for the last 5 to 10 meters. Incredible performance. Wish

Just a slight wind. I could see Guliyev easily dipping into the 19.6s with the right conditions and no early celebration.

wow! He was flying! Great race, really like the overhead camera as well. Hortelano tired at the end, maybe needs some more conditioning. I hope they test Wilson for PEDS.

What a run by Guliyev!....one thing I learned trolling on youtube for this race....Guliyev is not White, and the Caucasus Mountain area is in Siberia where it is cold and remote. This coming from the Low IQ people if you know what I mean..

They will try to criticize any white athlete. A lot of these same dumb as*** also cut down the Asian sprinters. We know Guliyev is white and he is the best 200 meters sprinter in the world. Defending world champion and now European Champion. Would love to see him get the clean sweep at the next Olympics. Can you say trifecta?

SEASON BEST FOR SCHIPPERS with her 22.14 for silver. Good effort and strong finish but too slow on that bend meant she couldn't hope to pull in European AND world leader Asher-Smith's 21.89

good race for Schippers as well Beth Dobbins got some great experience from these Championship games and I see a very bright future for her. On a side note Prandini goes in the 100m today at the NACACS in Toronto, she faces Shelly Anne Frazier Price. Hope Prandini wins and does another sub 11 in doing so! Devon Allen and Jonathon Cabral go head to head in the mens 110mh final, should be a dandy race!

This 2018 European Championships has seen a new true super star of distance running. His name is
Jakob Ingebrigtsen

Here is the link and he pulled off a historic double gold medal win in the 1500 & 5000 meters at only
17 years of age. In my whole life I have never seen such a phenomenal performance! Simply incredible.

Guliyev flew home as relay anchor to snatch silver in the last 5m from the Netherlands.
37.98 took 0.32 off Turkey's record

Netherlands silver and Germany bronze in the women's relay.

Duplantis 6.05 to win Gold in a huge junior WR.
A young Russian was 2nd having gone from 5.52 to 6.oo this season.

Laura Muir killed them in the women's 1500m
