Since 2006, the Huskies have started 11, 11, 14, 12, 11, 7, 7, 9 and 6 whites. I did not see a write up for 2014. In 2016 they are projected to start 8.
No white depth on this MAC team to speak of. This program is the perfect example of a program built on the shoulders of white players only to see them ignored once they become a successful program which NIU has been in the MAC.
Jerry Kill went on to Minnesota and did not recruit white players even though his success was based on them at NIU. Dave Doeren took it a step further and went full time caste whore once he left for NC State. Two pathetic men!
Players to watch out for include DE Josh Corcoran.
