Since 2005, Kent State has started 7, 8, 9, 9, 11, 10, 12, 11, 14, 12 and 12 starters. In 2016 they are projected to start 9.

FS Nate Holley is arguably the best safety in the country. He had a ridiculous 139 total tackles, 5 TFLs, 2 sacks, 1 INT in 2015. I think he will be a riser if he stays healthy. He is a beast of a player. His brother Nick Holley is listed as an rb/wr and is projected to be a starter.

Players on the depth chart to look out for include QB Colin Reardon, TE Ryan Malone, S Kevin Bourne, LB Nick Cuthbert, S Matt Bahr

Nick Holley never quite won that starting RB job. Finally, last week he got the nod... at starting quarterback! In two games under center, Holley has run the ball 58 times for 341 yards, including yesterday's 224 yard, 4 td performance on the ground (as well as 89 yards through the air). Last weekend, Holley threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns.

At 2-4, Kent State has work to do to make a bowl game. The rest of their opponents won't be quite as bad, nor as black, as the Buffalo Bills. Still, this development makes them a team to follow going forward (if you weren't already).

Lazy comparison of Holley to Edelman - both gifted white athletes who played for the same school. I'd expect nothing less from McFaggot:

Kent State senior QB/RB/WR Nick Holley is "doing his best Julian Edelman impersonation," writes ESPN's Todd McShay.

The Golden Flashes moved Holley, a former RB/WR hybrid, to QB last week. Holley ended up rushing for 224 yards and four touchdowns on 24 carries in Saturday's 44-20 victory over Buffalo. "The 5-10, 190-pound senior has impressive quickness and vision," wrote McShay.

Still waiting for the "experts" to recognize Nate Holley as a legitimate draft prospect.
