Last year Kansas State started 12 Whites.

The 2016 Kansas State Wildcats look to start 10 Whites.

Offense:
QB Jesse Ertz
LT Scott Frantz
LG Tyler Mitchell
C Reid Najvar
RT Dalton Risner
TE Dayton Valentine
FB Winston Dimel

Defense:
DE Tanner Wood
DT Will Geary
ILB Will Davis

Kansas State University is located in Manhattan, KS which is 83.5% White and 5.5% black according to the 2010 US Census.

The projected number of White starters on Kansas State's football team is 10/22 which is 45.5%.

This means that White football players are underrepresented by 38 percentage points (83.5% - 45.5%) given the geographic location of the University.

Heading into their Sept. 2nd opener at Stanford, they are less sumo on the o-line!!

LT -- Scott Frantz
LG -- Tyler Mitchell
C -- Reid Najvar
RT -- Dalton Risner (moved from center where he started 13-games last year)

True frosh Nick Lenners isn't starting, sophomore Dayton Valentine (White) is. At DE, depth chart says Tanner Wood or Reggie Walker. If Wood starts, K-State will start the season with 10 White starters... and 6 Whites' on the defensive two-deep!

K State also has a white CB listed on the two deep in Jonathan Durham. Interesting that both Kansas schools have white CBs looking at playing time (Colin Spencer).

I have been talking about Colin Spencer forever since he had the highest and still does SPARQ rating of all time for a high school player. What irks me is that kind of an athlete could be a sucky tackler or even lack tackling skills but with his speed and quickness and leaping ability if he were black he would be starting for Alabama. IMO.

Thanks, man. Updated.

Snyder will retire soon. I wonder what the composition of the Wildcats will be in 5 years. Hopefully they won't go down the same dark road that the Jayhawks did.
