Since 2005, Indiana has started 11, 12, 8, 9, 9, 11, 10, 10, 14, 9. and 10 white players. The Hoosiers become one of the very few teams trending in the right direction, with another increase of 1 this year to 11 white starters. Indiana does have a history of being one of the whiter teams in the country when it comes to being fair to white players. On offense, the highlight of this team will be slot man Mitchell Paige. The most experienced WR on the team, the fact that he "somehow gets open" and "catches everything that's thrown to him" will likely result in Paige being one of new QB Richard Lagow's go-to targets. Paige led the Hoosier WRs with six TDs last year. On defense, safety Chase Dutra will look to build on a good year last year, finishing fifth on the team in tackles. As you can see by that, Dutra is great in run support. Also starting in the defensive backfield will be HUSKY Ben Bach. Kevin Wilson probably couldn't stand the thought of Bach actually starting at a CB position, so he's in a hybrid type position this year. Backups: QB Danny Cameron, WR Luke Timian, LT Coy Cronk, LG Jacob Bailey, C Simon Stepaniak, and DT Patrick Dougherty. Overall, Indiana is still trending the wrong direction, with very little white depth on the team.
