2016 Akron Zips

From 2005-2013, Akron has started 10, 9, 9, 8, 7, 9, 8, 8, and 7 white starters with no write up done in 2014. The Zips started 8 in 2015. The drop to an all time low of 6 in 2016.

It looks like the younger Bowden is doing his father proud as he blackens up a MAC team. black quarterbacks on the depth chart and not much in terms of white depth.

2 players mentioned here before should get some playing time. WR formerly a great explosive rb Anthony Lauro from Florida is a good one and redshirt freshman Chuck Turfe is a pretty elusive rb with some nice power but not a burner.
