2016/2017 NFL Week 17

I really want Detroit to win now. Hope Zenner gets the winning td. Why did they ignore him the second half yet again?

Ripkowski getting ignored now as well after his great first half performance.

Rodgers catching the defense with 12 men on the field - classic high-IQ White quarterbacking. That's what I consider "exciting," not the quarterback who looks to his first receiver and then takes off running if his man is covered.

Green Bay screwing it up now with the prevent defense, which prevents the team that uses it from winning.

You're correct, they are all graduates of the "Art Shell School of Dumb Looks". Jim Caldwell, Mike Tomlin, Romeo Crennel, Todd Bowles, Lovie Smith, they all have the same look.
cuz all they hear in their heads is "whatttt?" Thank goodness they have other coaches to coach the teams....

OMG could the Packers actually screw this up?

(Never mind).

You'd think this Geronimo was frikin Calvin frikin Johnson the way they're salivating over him.

I think they just like his name. Geronimo. Black "we beez Injuns an sheeee******t" syndrome, to go along with "we beez gypshuns (Egyptians)/we beez kangs."

I remember the bitching when Angelina Jolie was going to play Cleopatra. In reality, Cleopatra was a pureblooded descendant of Ptolemy, one of Alexander the Great's generals, so she was 100% Macedonian and 100% White. If anything, Angelina was too dark to play Cleopatra. With her lips, I've always been a little suspicious of her woodpile.

Nothing to be suspicious of those lips are as fake as anything on various Hollyweird celebrities. Supposedly she is part Native North American, that could be another fable like various celebrities and politicians.

Zenner didn't get to 100 yards rushing but was effective anyway. It was very encouraging to see him get 20 carries (69 yds.) and play virtually all the snaps. Only one other back got a carry for the Lions and that was receiver Tate. The back-ups did not see the field from what I saw. Former starter Riddick is out for the year so Zenner should be in a similar position next week in Seattle.

There was a lot of local chat about how the Lions lost against Dallas by going away from Zenner and the run game. He really has been the only one that has been effective for them this year. They were practically forced to use him, which is typically the ONLY way a white RB gets significant carries.

Nelson deserves Comeback of the Year Player. One year removed from his horrific injury, he managed to finish sixth in receiving yards. His first several years in the league he had to sit the bench so the real affletes could play.

The question is will any team look at Burkhead or Zenner as potential starters and sign them? Probably not. They are both seen as nothing more than decent journeymen type running backs and second or third stringers.
