Since 2005, Wake has started 9, 7, 7, 10, 11, 11, 10, 10, 8 and white starters. They drop down to 7 starters this year. Pretty disappointing decline as they were always one of the whiter teams in the ever blackening ACC.
John Wolford came out of nowhere as a freshman last year and took the job. He should start at QB for the next three years. He was a nice dual threat QB in HS, hopefully this year he is able to bring that part of his game to the next level.
LG Patrick Osterage, RG Tyler Hayworth, RT Nick Leudeke, LB Zack Wary and TE Devin Pike are two players to look out for.
