Since 06' Tulane has started 7, 9, 7, 8, 11, 10, 8, 6, and 7 white players. In 2015 they look to start 4 white players. This team has almost no white depth at anywhere on the depth chart. Tanner Lee is a promising QB who had a decent freshman season. Behind him are three black quarterbacks. Tanner Lee needs to play exceptional but this team is on the way to looking like Grambling after being a decent team to root for over the past decade.

This team is nothing to cheer for - a very black roster overall. The only bright spots are DT Paul Stuadinger who had 2 sacks in the spring game but is not listed on the two deep depth chart and DEs Luke Jackson and Trey Cammissa. I did not see any white LBs and all the TEs are black. The o-line depth seems to be pretty much all black as well.

Yeah, not long ago they were relatively White-friendly, actually watchable. Then that coach got canned and then they hired the coach they have now that "brought in a new philosophy."

I remember reading a quote from him about the time that he took over, paraphrasing, "First thing I noticed is that we need to upgrade the athleticism here." Something along those lines. Really? Did he put all of them through some sort of calisthenics to figure that out, or did many of them just not pass the "eye test". I think we all know now what he meant by that.

Yes its funny how all of these coaches at these smaller schools always need to upgrade the athleticism and yet when they do the teams are even worse.

The worst thing is when a coach from a relatively white friendly successful program moves onto a bigger school and just stops recruiting whites totally. Dave Doeren of NC State comes to mind - he built his career on the backs of white players at Northern Illinois and totally ignores them now.
