2015 Texas Tech Red Raiders

Since 2006, Texas Tech has started 7, 9, 8, 10, 7, 8, 5, and 4 white starters. They could potentially start 7 this year, with two wide receivers. Ohio State transfer LB Mike Mitchell is an athletic beast. He had the highest recorded SPARQ score in his high school recruiting class, and transferred to TTU due to illness within the family.

Offense -
QB - Davis Webb - in a battle for position
WR - Dylan Cantrell - in a battle for position
WR - Ian Sadler
C - Jared Kaster
RG - Baylen Brown
RT - Justin Murphy

Defense -
LB - Mike Mitchell - in a battle for position

Back ups looking at playing time include WR Brad Pearson, LG Ben Kittley, and RG Robert Castaneda. Very bad depth.

Alot of the publications have the scattershot mulatto QB Mahomes starting ahead of Davis Webb. Hopefully Kingsbury knows that Webb's talent is 10 times that of Mahomes. Webb was right up their with Goff and Hackenberg two years ago as a promising freshman. The only reason he missed time last year was due to injury.

Kingsbury has done a pretty good job of darkening up the Texas Tech roster unfortunatley.
