Since '05, they've started 8, 8, 8, 9, 9, 11, 11, 10 and 9 whites. Pitt is projected to have 7 white starters this year.

Paul Chryst has left for Wisconsin and former Michigan St. Def Coordinator has taken over.

Offesnsively the Panthers are not much to get excited about - only one white WR may get playing time - Chris Wuestner. TE Scott Orondorff is listed as second on the depth chart as well. They do have a ton of white linemen: lt John Guy, LGs Carson Baker and Mike Grimm and incoming freshmen Alex Paulina and Mike Herndon. QB Adam Bertke is an interesting QB to watch - a huge QB at 6-6 235lbs and more of the prototypical Qb. He is one to keep an eye down the road.

The defense has a ton of white depth so although their is only one projected white starter there should be a decent amount of playing time seen by some of the white reservers: DT Mark Scarpinato is a former Mich St. player and grad transfer eligible to play immediatley. Other players to watch on the defensive line include Connor Dintino, Zach Poker, Shane Roy and Michael Dunn. At linebacker Dom Cuono, Nico Lodovico, Mike Caprara and Brian Popp may all see playing time.

Offense
QB - Chad Voytik
TE - J.P. Holtz
LT - Adam Bisnowaty
C - Artie Rowell
RG - Alex Bookser or Mike Herndon
RT - Aaron Reese

Defense
MLB - Matt Galambos

Matt Galambos is electric (like Vince Biegel, Richie Brown & Calvin Munson who all get more press), and he came soo close to several more sacks last year. http://www.pittsburghpanthers.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/matt_galambos_852931.html

2015: Started all 13 games at middle linebacker...compiled 88 tackles, 10 TFLs, five sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles...finished second on the team in tackles and sacks (tied)...had a career-high 19 stops against Navy in the Military Bowl, the most tackles in a game by a Pitt player since 2006...also forced a Navy fumble that was returned 22 yards for a touchdown by safety Jordan Whitehead...had 10 tackles with a nine-yard sack at Virginia Tech...had 10 stops against Miami...was twice named the ACC Linebacker of the Week

Mike Caprara had a breakout Junior season after finally getting the PT. He's athletic and damn good: http://www.pittsburghpanthers.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/mike_caprara_808001.html

2015: Played in all 13 games, starting eight contests at Money linebacker...made his first career start in the opener against Youngstown State and then started the final seven contests of the year...totaled 49 tackles, 10.5 TFLs, five sacks, a fumble recovery, a forced fumble and an interception...named the ACC Linebacker of the Week for his performance at Duke...had a career-high nine tackles and three sacks, and also recovered his own forced fumble in a 31-13 win over the Blue Devils...in a 27-19 win over Virginia, made one of the game's key defensive plays when he sacked quarterback Matt Johns in the end zone for a safety...totaled five tackles, two TFLs and a sack in the UVA victory...had a nine-yard sack and a game-clinching interception in Pitt's 17-13 win at Virginia Tech.

WR Zach Challingsworth was not mentioned here. I have a good feeling he is going to have a breakout junior season this year as I think he caught about 25 passes last year but I will have to look it up.
