2015 Idaho Vandals

The Idaho Vandals are usually a perfect example of the caste system, starting absurdly low numbers of white players, not recruiting in their own area, instead deciding to import blacks from Florida and Polys from California, and continuing to do so even when they suck. Expect that to change somewhat for this year. Two of their best players on defense are white in LBs Marc Millian and Broc Westlake. The Vandals have a QB with an NFL pedigree, and also a white outside WR!! Since 2005 the Vandals have started 13,13,9,8,9,8,6,5, 6, and 6 white players. Expect it to jump back up to 11 this year!! Definitely a nice trend in the right direction. Go Vandals!! I really hope that they can make some noise this year with more white guys, because with caste stooge Paul Petrino still in charge somehow, this can't last for long. Backups include: QB Jake Luton, FB Will Schmidt, TE(Y) Trent Cowan, QG Andrew Erbes C/SG Patrick Johnson, ST Devin Wiltz, LDE Zach Cable, WLB Kaden Ellis, and FS/SS Jordan Frysinger. So enjoy it while it lasts, as the defense has a lot of blacks and polys (even finding a black kid from Alaska of all places!!). Millian and Westlake are gone next year, so it looks back to the 1-2 white starters for the Vandal D, which is better than what they have been the last couple of years.

Jack, Idaho is a great example of how a team can get whiter very quickly. They usually have a base of about 5 or 6 whites as starters on the O-line and often the QB. Then, throw in a few non-secondary whites on defense, a starting white WR or tight end, and presto, they are somewhat likeable.
