Since '05, Cincinnati has started 12, 12, 10, 8, 10, 8, 10, 10, 10 and 8 white starters. They drop down to 5 white starters this year with none on defense.
Tuberville is doing his best to make this another SEC team. Gunner Kiel will have to carry this team once again, one of the best QBs in the country who took a long strange path to become the starting QB for the Bearcats and potential Heisman candidate. Cincinnati's defense was porous last year and it looks to be almost coal black on the 2 deep depth chart. They do have some interesting young white defensive players that may get some playing time.
White backups to look out for are: QB Hayden Moore, OL Evan Mallory, C David Niehaus, RG Luke Callahan, RT Chad West, DT Beau Harmon, DE Caleb Ashworth (not sure if he is eligible or on a RS), LB Franklin Bruscianelli, LB Brye Jenkinson, LB Mason Antoun, S Carter Jacobs.
