The Cavaliers started Since '05, Virginia has started 4, 8, 8, 8, 9, 8, 10 an 9 whites from 2005-2012. They are projected to start 7 whites in 2014. Could not find last year's write up.

Mike London has made an effort to recruit in Virginia Beach, Cheseapeake and Norfolk Va - high black populations with players that in no way meet the academic requirements of what was once a prestigious institution founded by Thomas Jefferson and comparable at one time to Ivy League schools (not that it means anything in this day and age). Just goes to show how schools with supposedly rigorous academic standards allow a low IQ element on the football team - most of who are mediocre players yet have the right skin color.

Players to watch out for include OG Cody Wallace, C Jackson Matteo, OG Jack McDonald, RT Michael Mooney, TE Rob Burns and DE Trent Corney. This team is built to caste standard - white QB, white TE, white FB and white OL - all defense and "skill" positions filled by unqualified blacks.

Offense
QB Greyson Lambert
FB Connor Wingo-Reeves
TE Zachary Swanson
LT Jay Whitemire
LG Conner Davis
C Eric Tetlow
RG Ross Burbank

Leonardfan, Thanks for this write-up.

I listened to an extended radio interview with Coach London a couple years back. Seems like a decent dude, worked at one point as a cop in Richmond VA (which isn't an easy job).. I respect him for that. But he has done a terrible job at head coach. UVa is 18-31 under London. Only winning about 25% of their ACC games.
I think London's heading into his fifth season, which is a long time to be losing at this level. London is starting to look like a collegiate Marvin Lewis. We'll see how things play out, I saw a Fire Mike London facebook page a while ago.. Fans in Charlottesville may be gettin' restless.

Evidence UVa fans are losing interest in Coach London's tenure (?)

A pair of articles reporting on UVa's significant drop in home game attendance.. UVa has hosted the smallest home crowds in their last 3 games since 1989. While college home game attendance is down nationally 7% from 3 seasons ago, the Virginian Pilot reports UVa's is down 22% (& the linked article is reporting down 27% ?).. Virginian Pilot basically (& obliviously) gives London a pass, citing a cluster of too many home games as the possible reason for diminishing fan interest.. not London's abysmal ACC record, etc..

Interesting article AA.
An under the radar story regarding the UVA season is the emergence of Parker johns due to injuries to Greyson lambert. Johns is a good qb and a dual threat.

Yeah, Johns filled in well (1000+ yards, 8 Tds/5 Ints)..
Lambert returned this week, and played okay (200 yards 2 Tds, with 2 picks) in a loss to North Caste'lina. Lambert's completion rate was hurt by a number of dropped passes.. and honestly UVa's chance for a 4th quarter comeback was sabotaged by a last minute illegal sub. penalty.. UNC was up by 1, attempting a field goal when UVa (with the advantage of their time out to set up) still ran 12 dudes onto the field. UNC gets the free first down & subsequently runs out the clock.

Inept coaching in my opinion, and the ACC Network indicated Mike London is now 0-5 against UNC.
