It certainly wasn’t the same old Djokovic we’ve seen the past few years. His main assets, which are the ability to match his opponent’s intensity, out will them and get aggressive at pivotal points, were out to lunch. I’d like to hear his explanation.

With Cilic up two sets to love and a break in the third against Nishikori it looks like we will be spared the scenario of no whites winning a singles title at this year's Open. The Japanese has made several big comebacks already at this tournament but this is surely a bridge too far.

Who would have ever thought Goran Ivanisevic was coaching material? Lol. There’s no getting around it, Marin Cilic’s performances in both the Federer and Kei Nishikori matches were some diabolical stuff.
