Bad news out of Pittsburgh for the Steelers backfield today. Running backs Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount were arrested for marijuana possession tonight. Clipped from the Fansided.com article by Josh Sanchez: "According to multiple media reports, the two running backs were arrested with 20 grams of marijuana in the back of the car. They were arrested in Ross Township. They were cooperative during the arrest. Le'Veon Bell was also charged with a DUI."

Brett Keisel is an interesting player. He was a seventh round pick in 2002 but developed into a quality player. You wonder how many other white players could develop the way Keisel did if given a chance.

Keisel is well known for his beard. Every year he has his beard shaved off in a charity event called "Shear the Beard." He then grows the beard back.

A key architect of the NFL’s ‘Rooney Rule’ believes British football “has nothing to lose” by adopting a similar regulation.

The rule requires teams to interview at least one black or minority ethnic candidate for a head coach vacancy.

There are only two black managers in the Premier League and Football League.

Dan Rooney, 82, told BBC Radio 5 live: “I would tell British clubs that if they would look at this openly they will find this is a positive thing.”

Here's another excellent example of how the league's integrity has been damaged in the name of statistics padding and racial pandering: The Steelers could have won their game over Jacksonville last week at the 2:00 minute mark by Big Ben kneeling three times and running out the clock. But Roethlisberger used the two minute timeout to have a pow-wow with Mike Tomlin and Todd Haley and urge that a pass be thrown to Antonio Brown in order to extend Brown's league record to 21 straight games with at least 5 receptions and 50 receiving yards.

Ben did successfully throw to Brown, and the Steelers hung on to win over the wretched Jags, but the proper thing to do was to do everything possible to ensure victory by kneeling on the ball, not throwing it and risking an interception or fumble for the sole purpose of extending a record.

Ron Cook, a veteran Pittsburgh sports writer who is an ultra-leftist on race and social issues (I've mentioned him a few times before), wrote that the throw to Brown was the right play call, because Brown has a great work ethic and thus the play was an "amazing tribute" to him.

"Brown deserves it. If anyone deserves it, he deserves it," said Roethlisberger, with Cook writing that Roethlisberger, Tomlin and Haley all agree that no one "even comes close" to Brown when it comes to how hard he works. If that's the case, then Big Ben ought to be taking a long look in the mirror at his own work ethic.

One can easily imagine Cook periodically drying his keyboard of tears while typing this piece of pandering bs, and Ben also welling up while talking about Brown.

that is unbelievable. It's also no surprise that I would have never found out about this if not for this site. I bet even a lot of DWF would take issue with this if they knew.
