Here are the white Wildcats projected to start for Northwestern this year. Pat Fitzgerald is one of the fairest coaches in the country when it comes to recruiting and playing white athletes. Although the Wildcats have darkened in recent years, they are still a great place for white players. Trevor Siemian finally takes full control of the QB job after splitting time with Kain Colter last season, and look for him to put up some big numbers this year. Since 2005, Northwestern has started 12, 13, 15, 14, 15, 16, 15, 11, and 11 white starters. Look for 11 again this year. I wish the Wildcats would get back to playing more white athletes that put them on the map again. Some white players to look for are: QBs Zack Oliver and Matt Alviti (who I’ve heard some good things about), SBs Jayme Taylor and Mark Szott, WRs Macan Wilson and Austin Carr, LT Shane Mertz, LG Adam DePietro, C Hayden Baker, RG Ian Park, RT Eric Olson, DT Greg Kuhar, DT/DE Max Chapman, and MLB Jaylen Prater. Go Wildcats!! I’m hoping for a big year for Northwestern.

Offense
QB- Trevor Siemian
WR- Mike McHugh – in a fight for the position
SB- Dan Vitale
LT- Paul Jorgensen
LG- Geoff Mogus
C- Brandon Vitabile
RG- Matt Frazier
RT- Jack Konopka

Defense
DE- Dean Lowry
DT- Sean McEvilly
MLB- Collin Ellis

In all honesty, in terms of versatility and skill set, SB Dan Vitale is the best full back/half back I have ever seen. Can block and has the hands of a wide receiver. He was a two star running back out of HS who ended up starting at NWs super back position (which is like a full back/TE mix) as a true freshman. I would love to see what he can do with the ball in his hands.

Jack Lambert looks like you barely beat me to the punch. I posted my own thread for Northwestern just now. What about Nick Vanhoose at CB? According to Rivals he is a starter.

EDIT: Actually it looks like VanHoose is mixed.

I agree with this; from watching Northwestern last year, they had him doing a lot of things, running him all over the formations, etc. I think he should be in the NFL as an H-Back type one day!!

It looks like I got you beat with the post by 3 minutes or so! :) I was gonna say that I've always counted VanHoose as mixed; probably 1/4-1/8 black in my estimation.
