McKenzies ranking from lottery

1. Aaron Ekblad, D
2. Sam Reinhart, C
3. Sam Bennett, C
4. Leon Draistl, LW
5. Michael Dal Colle, LW
6. Nick Ritchie, LW
7. Nikolaj Ehlers, LW
8. Jake Virtanen, RW
9. Kasperi Kapanen, RW
10. Haydn Fleury, D
11. Brendan Perlini, LW
12. William Nylander, LW

Craig Button had DeAngelo ranked 12th in his ranking, but he also did a mock draft, but didn't have him drafted. A lot of people expect him to slide despite having 71 points in 51 games a defenseman because hes been suspended twice for racist or homophobic slurs(nothing on the internet on which one it is) this year. Though he did start the year with 53 points in 35 games, so only 18 points in his last 16 may also affect him too.

Josh Ho Sang is the only non-white that will probably go in the first.

So Josh Ho Sang got interviewed and were he showed he is the purest definition of a egomaniac.

A lot of whining that from some people that he is being affected by racism. Even though he fits the Evander Kane mold, highly arrogant, major off ice behavioral issues with very little performance to show.

DeAngelo is still considered a 2nd round pick who will get nagged about his suspensions... Fans will somehow agree with him dropping...

Fortitud3, This dude Ho-Sang is actually making Kane look modest and unassuming.

Earlier this week the Toronto Sun cited an interview where Ho-Sang said, "If I was a general manager and I had first pick in the draft, I would draft me No. 1.. In three years I'll be the best player in this draft."

DeAngelo want 20th to the Lightning and Ho Sang went 24th to the Isles.

Interestingly the top rank Russian Barbashev who was ranked anywhere from 11th to 15th, ended up not being drafted in the 1st round and Scherbak dropped a couple spots and Goldobin who was ranked in the 40s was drafted by the Sharks.

Neal was traded for Hornqvist and Spalling. Not a very good deal for Pittsburgh, even if Neal is a scumbag.

I'm a little late on this, but I was very happy to see the Panthers draft Aaron Ekblad #1 overall. Some of the message board idiots (not DWF's but clueless people nonetheless) were so adamant about trading down and acquiring more "band aid fixes" Yeah, because that approach has worked sooooooooo well for the Panthers in the last 15 years. Ekblad is going to be a beast in this league, and is perhaps the next Shea Weber
