@ Dwid and @ Pie; thank you for helping to clear that up.

@ Foobar75 I totally agree with you on the commercial thing.

The nice, peaceful Black family that acts White (and shows no sign of the inevitable ghetto chimpout) is one of the media's favorite tropes. Similar to the big fat stupid White guy married to a condescending, know-it-all (but inappropriately hot and skinny) wife.

Another one is the Wise, noble Black man who says really elementary things, but because he is Black and old we are supposed to put him alongside Einstein. Morgan Freeman, I'm looking at you.

The NFL's goal seems to be to replace so many White quarterbacks with bad ones that our standards gradually come down and, as we eat more and more Hot Cheetos and drink more and more beer and soft drinks, we will forget what a good quarterback actually can do.

On the positive side Peyton Manning is having a record setting type season. Truly Manning is one of the greatest players of all time.

on another note, I am not seeing any white sack masters this season... Matthews is injured, neither Watt nor Allen or Long are doing very well in that department and there was seemingly always a random player who catapulted onto the "sacking" stage (like Babin, Barwin or Brooks Reed) and there doesn't seem to be any. i remember doing the stats weekly and there was always several guys in the top 10, going all the way to Kerney and Vanden Bosch.
this season the only white player in the top 30 and the only who looks to eclipse his season sack high is Ryan Kerrigan (Watt is just in there as well after this week's sack).

This figured to be a tough road game for the Broncos. They need to forget about Slowshon and go 4/5 wideouts every play, and get Welker involved.

this season the only white player in the top 30 and the only who looks to eclipse his season sack high is Ryan Kerrigan (Watt is just in there as well after this week's sack).

before this week Kerrigan was tied for 8th with 5, Jared Allen tied for 28th and they had an early bye and Watt tied with him. Watt is a 3-4 end so I didn't expect him to keep being in the lead but he is still playing amazing.

edit: im not sure if those include this week's stats, but Allen still has a game to play and gets his sacks in chunks sometimes, I think he had a 4 sack game the other year? He had 2.5 the other game. All 3 are projected to have double digit sack seasons which is good, with Kerrigan projected to have 16. Allen is getting up there in age, Watt is a 3-4 end with more responsibilities than just rushing the passer like taking up blockers to gree other guys up and Kerrigan has to drop back in coverage etc (more so than other 3-4 olbs which I haev noticed with most 3-4 White olbs). So the fact that they all have the potential to get double digit sack seasons is great.

Only one player has Kerrigan beat with sacks and tackles, 1 is tied with tackles and has him beat with sacks, and only one with more solo tackles and more sacks, with 1 more solo which is Suggs. Kerrigan also has two forced fumbles.

Chris Long was ejected today for throwing punches and apparently he gave the bird to fans who wedre throwing stuff at him.

Manning's arm has been suspect since that Mathis safety, let's hope it's nothing serious. He's been throwing floaters out there, hopefully it doesn't get a receiver injured.

Game not over! 30 to 36 Colts. Colts turn it over deep in Bronc territory. Decker and Welker make critical drive sustaining catches. Bronks punch it with slowshawn.

I thought that forward progress had stopped on the Richardson fumble.

J. Thomas is a liability. What is the point of having him as a TE if he doesn't block?

Big mistake by the Bronks having Thomas in as blocker. Useless! You would think the OC would know this. But.......................NO. I am glad for Luck but I want Manning, Welker and Decker to continue their excellence.

Such BS. Why do they even making a ruling on who recovered it without looking at the footage since they clearly don't know and they can't overrule it without it being "clear."

Affeletic RB Hillman fumbles at the 2 yard line. After Welker's acrobatic catch. Probably costing the Bronks the game. Then ruffing the passer by another affelete. F**K!

All the running backs in this game are garbage. Manning waited until the 4th quarter to use Welker. Oh well, I'm glad for Luck. Fleener was solid and Angerer got a pick. Both teams need to lighten up on defense.

Affeletism at its finest. Man, a Bronks win carried by our guys tonight would have be a nice ending to a quatoback success this week. Oh well can't win them all.

Or that holding call that gave that'll give the Broncos more favorable field position.

That's why they didn't blow the whistle when forward progress had clearly stopped on Richardson.

How long was he held up, if it was just as his forward progress stopped then this would be no different than most fumbles.

He was getting gang tackled by like 5 Broncos and hadn't moved a yard in like 2 seconds.
