Seven Whites picked so far in the second round if we include Amaro, which I'm ready to do at this point. :eek:hwell:
8 with Missouri lineman Britt to the Seahawks.

I might be too optimistic but from the mock drafts I looked at the second round was very dark, but the other rounds were (slightly) better.

IF the bills are smart they will draft a qb like Aaron Murray, Savage, or Mettenberger as insurance for the impending fall of black quarterback Manuel. They wasted next year's 1st on Watkins so they can't even draft a top qb next year after Manuel blows. At least they'll have the guy waiting to clean up the mess Manuel leaves.

You have to feel sympathy for Burkeman over in Cincinnati. That Marvin Lewis is very despicable.

Plus Garappolo was drafted after I posted about seven going, so that unofficially makes 9 Whites taken in the second round. Can anyone verify?

There are some teams that should be looking for young quarterbacks. Tennessee and St Louis for example.

Savage, Mettenberger, McCarron, Murray and Fales are still available. Two or three of them should be drafted this round.

The third round isn't over yet and I'm out of beer.

Garoppolo to NE is a curious pick. What about Ryan Mallett?

I'm speculating that Mallet will be traded to Houston, for Houston's fourth round pick perhaps. A trade may already have been arranged.

Houston needs a QB but hasn't drafted one so...

Absolutely. Manuel hasn't proven he can stay on the field or do the job when he's on it.

The Bills apparently have the attitude that Manuel is their guy no matter what.

Last year they could have doubled up on QB by drafting Nassib in the 4th. They should have. Now they should draft a QB. Tom Savage would be perfect for Buffalo.

In 2012 Buffalo passed on Nick Foles. In 2013 they passed on Matt Barkley and Ryan Nassib. This year they passed on Tom Savage.

It's no wonder this team is perennially bad or, at best, mediocre.

Borland goes to SF behind Willis and Bowman...won't get an opportunity for years.

Not necessarily. Bowman suffered a severe knee injury and Willis is getting older and has already slowed some. Borland may have to wait years, but won't surprise me if he's a starter by his second or third season, Bowman may even be moved outside at some point.

Ha, I just snuck out for a 40 ouncer. And missed some good picks in the third round, maybe I should not watch more often.

you guys be prepared a 30rack is necessary :). As for Borland we'll see niners might see him as insurance policy for Bowman as you eluded to.

I like how they say he's a work in progress in the passing game rather than saying he's not a good receiver.

A white player running a 4.66 wouldn't be drafted.
If he was drafted it would be as a fullback or a tweener type late in the draft but most likely if he was too small for those roles he would be a training camp body even if he played at a top school. The double standard at running back and corner back(which is worse) is the most glaring in football.

Raiders select a morbidly obese, heart attack candidate to play guard.

Yeah, his best bet is they cut him before training camp... but they wont; they'll let him rot on the bench for a few years until everyone forgets about him...

What a disappointment. Borland is capable of immediately stepping in and starting; that almost assuredly won't happen in SF.

Murphy most likely won't start in WSH either, unless they put him on the line...

There have been a handfull of bright spots, but I've been very disappointed thus far....

I'd be shocked if GB selects a white guy. And they don't they select a sumo wuh a whopping 5 sacks in his career. Lmao that's what it takes to succeed in draft these days folks!!
