[h=2]Currently there are 4 white starters:

Offense-
FB Connor Neighbors
TE Travis Dickson

Defense-
LT Christian LaCouture
MLB DJ Welter

Sadly, the only other white kid on the 2 deep roster is LT Ethan Pocic. At QB there is 3 teamer Brandon Bergeron a JC transfer. The 1 and 2 deep QB's are both Afletes. Les Miles has continued to overlook a wealth of talented white High School players in the state of Louisiana and has put together a roster that possibly will be the first to start 22 blacks in the near future. WR Trey Quinn will in my estimation transfer within 2 years to a school that welcomes diversity and allows a player the ability to compete regardless of skin color!

There are 116 players listed on the roster and 37 are white with most of those being Walk-Ons. 31%........This is PATHETIC![/h]

I just learned that baseball player Jared Foster, a former walk-on QB at LSU has accepted the invitation from lester miles to rejoin the team given that the team only has 2 scholarship black quarterbacks and 1 JC non-scholarship QB (who is white). Foster is an outstanding athlete and hopefully will get a real chance to play!

Thanks for the right-up...totally understand your frustrations with LSU....while Coach Miles may be partially to blame...the Recruiting Services Rivals.com/Scout..24/7 etc. have to shoulder plenty of the blame too!

Check out the list of Top 30-50 H.S. Football Players come out of Louisiana(or most states esp in south) every year according to them. The white players are few & far between....if Coaches are going by these list "alone"..this is what we are seeing! Sure a lot of talent is overlooked..it's also been said more & more white parents are not allowing their children to play football. Many would be prospects are flocking to baseball. Check out many of the Summer Football Camps across Louisiana...it's almost become a basketball thing where many blacks flock too as a way out of the hood!

In 2010 Zach Lee committed to LSU...a mobile QB perfect for the current system...however he signed a $2.5 million deal with the Dodgers in baseball. He could be a Senior by now and firmly entrenced as the starter.....another white QB committed to LSU Gunner Kiel ...however switched at the last minute; went to Notre Dame...Quit...now projected starter for Cincinnati....

It's a crazy day when LSU currently has 2 white starters on a defense & actually seems like a lot... when you check out many of the other SEC Defenses that have "NO" white players on their 2 deep depth chart! And some like So.Carolina don't even allow white defensive players on scholarship on the ENTIRE ROSTER!

The lack of white O-Lineman is the real eye opener at LSU...however the young 6'-7" Ethan Pocic has the look of a future NFLer!

Don't write off WR Trey Quinn just yet...he is generating a lot of buzz...even singled out at SEC Media Days...not common for a freshman...Check out his leaping ability...he may be 6'-1"

I wonder whose idea was it to give Hester carries? I know Bo Pelini was on staff at the time, and Burkhead also happened to get a fair shot at Nebraska while he as coaching, although it could be a coach that followed him to Nebraska that influenced t.

As of now, it looks like white starters of defense are the same, but Quinn is listed as starter at WR, and Pocic at center, along with Neighbors, but Dickson isn't listed at starter anymore, so that makes a total of 5, but unsure if Quinn is just starter until an afrolete is back.

Trail & error...not sure what's wrong here; how many times must I fail?? Should be seeing some images!!! Good grief! Guess i'll take a vacation from all this...too stressful!

True freshman WR Trey Quinn's first catch...a one handed snag for an 11 yard gain

Quinn's Key 2 pt conversion...

Even an incompletion was impressive where he adjusted his body in mid air but the DB made a nice play....sky is the limit for Quinn once the new QB can start clicking!
