Gerhart's arrival automatically makes the Jags a team to root for. They've gone on record many times already saying he will be a true bell cow.

When's the last time a white RB was brought in through Free Agency to be THE guy? John Riggins? For that matter, even Alstott was drafted to split carries. And we all know the recent history of White RBs being drafted by teams stacked at the position. Gerhart himself is an example. This is a truly unique and almost unbelievable situation, keep your fingers crossed.

Besides Gerhart the team is ho-hum, no NE, far from SEA. A ground and pound approach with solid D could take them far though, HOU is shaky at QB and OL and I expect IND to regress behind an all black OL and mostly coal D.

QB Henne will probably play game manager, Bortles could start.

RB Gerhart is the only viable RB on the roster, Todman is one of the least inspiring runners in the NFL and Robinson is a converted QB hybrid role type player. Almost no depth here, hoping Beau Blankenship can grab a spot, a good team for his chances as there is literally no talent to speak of outside Gerhart.

FB Ewing was brought in to replace Ta ufa u who was a terrible lead blocker for a terrible running attack. Read online he's sure to be replaced.

WR All black. Could be some young talent to get defenders out of the box, but mostly looks like "upside" to me.

TE Mercedes Lewis has the job, Brandon Barden will fight for a spot with a sea of blacks.

OL All white starters! Cameron Bradford probably only black backup, RT. Should be nice to see Gerhart running behind an all white OL, but Beadles is the only proven run blocker.

Offense 8/11 Really good, but no pass catchers.

DL I count Babin. Besides him no one, some talent here though.

LB Under appreciated Posluszny could have a great year in a close games, run-and-stop-the-run setting that seems to highlight other great MLBs.He's a top 10 MLB/ILB in my book. Stupar should play WSTD.

DB When is Prosinski going to start? Atrocious DB play has been mentioned many times on the forum, Jacksonville is no exception. He should win one of the safety spots, it's about time.

Defense 3?/11 Sadly 1-2 white defenders is average in the NFL so they look good. No depth though.

All in all, really looking forward to the Jags. If they run the ball with Gerhart behind Ewing and their all white OL and get solid QB play then they could be good. Key here is that the most important players are all white. I see Gerhart/Posluszny as Offensive/Defensive MVP candidates.

It will be interesting to see how everything goes for Toby. As of today, the projected starters for the offensive line are all white so we can't blame it on the sumos. It's possible we will have a black starter or two on the line by the beginning of the season.

Paul Posluszny finished second in the NFL in tackles with 162. He's one of the best inside linebackers in the league.

Posluszny finished with more tackles than much more hyped inside linebackers such as Navorro Bowman and Patrick Willis. Posluszny doesn't get as much credit as he deserves, undoubtedly because he's white.

Posluszny, along with Blake Bortles, Luke Joeckel and Toby Gerhart are white players on the Jaguars worth watching.

Bad news.

Jaguars placed MLB Paul Posluszny on injured reserve with a torn pectoral muscle, ending his season.

Fringe player J.T. Thomas will get the first shot at replacing Posluszny, who has been the Jaguars' leading tackler each of the past four seasons. Jeremiah George is next up behind Thomas. Posluszny is far from a star, but has been a reliable presence for a defense without much talent or valuable experience. Now on the wrong side of 30, Posluszny is signed through 2016, but it's quite possible his $7.45 million 2015 salary gets him cut in the offseason.
The Jags are now noticeably very black with a coal defense. Unless Gerhart regains the starting role, I could care less if they lose all of their remaining games.

It might be a good situation for Gerhart to share carries at first anyway. If they gave him the ball 15 to 20 times right away he would
probably get hurt again. He needs to get his body back in football shape. I have no doubt that he will be fine soon. The guy is one hell
of an athlete. I guarantee no one is harder on Toby than himself. He will be healthy and dangerous soon. I would bet on it.

I'm really happy with how Bortles is coming along. Not alot of talent at the receiver position but he is still playing good. Great pick up
by the Jags to draft this kid! They will be winners in the next few years for sure.

Gerhart is a proven player with a four year track record. His performance so far this year is probably due to his injury.

After he heals up he'll show that he's a quality starting running back.

Injuries definitely didn't help, he had that hip thing before the season started, your body overcompensates making you more prone to injury.

However its worth mentioning to dwfs that Robinson looked like crap against the same teams Gerhart did poorly against rushing, except Gerhart has 2 20+ yard receptions this year, the same amount of 20+ yard plays Denard has had in his career. But everyone is talking about how "explosive" Denard is now, his career long of 24. Yeah Denard had only 20 rushes last year but Gerhart had 36, and busted off 4 20+ yard runs.
