Sunday June 30th NBCS network and later repeat on NHL network. Nathan MacKinnon is a dazzling Center who has warp speed. Of course the media shys away from hyping up white athletes with mind boggling speed but how much longer can they hide the fact some of these hockey players are friggin faster than hell. He is projected to go number one to Colorado.
BTW the finals between the Bruins and Blackhawks produced some relatively very good TV ratings which bodes well for NHL in the coming years. And to think the whole season nearly went down the drain.

Just glad to see Sakic and Avs mgmt not get swayed by the Colorado media hype into taking magic negro Seth Jones #1. The DWF's might be upset though since his dad played in the NBA for the buggets

i'm surprised justin bailey is not hyped more. probably because he's an american who went to the ohl. usa hockey doesn't like when people leave the adm. imo, bailey is the best non-white in the draft. i've watched him play. he's a manchild. lindros-like.

anyway, bettman can cram it for the obvious hyping of non-white hockey players.

Such a sage and insightful quote that USA Today couldn't wait to get the word out. I see two rather obvious typos in that text. LeBron's mom opted for two capital letters when penning that birth certificate (or perhaps dictating it), and Allen Iverson's first name is also spelled incorrectly by this vaunted journalist.

Sober eyes have seen fit to edit the article already, but your c/p betrays the slovenly nature of the messenger.

As to the "RIGGED?" picture, I also found it at the top of an image query. It's hosted on some pro-black, pro-gay, pro-hyphen web ring that I'd never heard of, in the Gawker model of sister sites. The inspiration behind it was that the NHL draft was rigged because this black hockey player was from Colorado and Colorado got the number one pick from the lotto draw, so of course he would fill the otherwise-empty seats with his room-brightening smile and superior skill set. Well, Mr. Jones went fifth to a team not from Colorado, so the photoshop is moot now.

The NHL draft is quite different than the NFL or NBA because the players commonly defer or continue playing elsewhere (but I'm no authority because I'm not much of a hockey fan just yet). Hopefully, these aforementioned new black superstars 'defer' and pursue their careers in minor leagues long enough for their 'upside' to be fully revealed.

They talk about "great blood lines", ect...Truth is, Darnell Nurse is not genetically related to "Big Don"....He's the nephew of former Syracuse point guard Roxie Nurse, McNabb's wife.

Yeah, I didn't know much about Nurse's background.. but I saw McNabb on draft day, sitting there looking stupid, & the camera singled him out of the crowd a couple times while Nurse was heading up to the stage.

I think they mentioned that Nurse's father was a former CFL player (?) I don't begrudge Nurse, it's more the moronic, slavish focus that the media puts on these guys, bcuz they're salivating at the thought of a great mulatto hockey star. It's typical of the modern liberal, to tell us how race doesn't matter, while they're simultaneously pointing out the race of any non-White who is ascending.

I'm glad the Panthers also passed on the overhyped Jones, and with with Alexander 'Sasha' Barkov. Despite the Russian name, he is actually a Finn and dominated the Finnish Elite League. The dude is built like a tank also at 6'3 210 lbs. He's also a dead ringer for Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundren) from the Rocky 4 movie.

Going into this year's draft eight of the top 100 "ranked" North American skaters were black. This mightn't seem all that "threatening" but just think about it for a moment or two...
