Thats a pretty good team from a caste perspective. Its a shame the new coach has a hardon for black quarterbacks

Agreed. Good number of white starters but a black quarterback limits this team.

Thanks for the write up Colonel!

I actually was going to do this Pre-view...but went thru numerous depth charts...& too many different line-ups came up...simply was not comfortable enough giving an EXACT number. It varied anywhere from 10 to 13....

DB Sean Sylvia is listed as a starter according to some sources...and not in others...

Missed the start of the BC-Pitt game tonight...

i tuned into tonight's Boston College game simply because their official depth chart listed 3 starting White wideouts, all of them towering targets: 6-foot-5 junior Dan Crimmins, 6-foot-4 grad student Josh Bordner, and 6-foot-4 freshman Charlie Callinan.

6-foot-2 walk-on senior Jeff Jay is a back-up, but it appears that senior Bobby Swigert hasn't fully recovered from injury, as he is not listed on the depth chart. he is a solid player when healthy.

having watched much of the game, though, it doesn't matter who the wideouts are because the scattershot black quarterback can barely hit the ground when he drops the ball. not only that, i've heard of the quarterback read-option … but i've not heard of BC's variation of it: the black quarterback can't-read-option. to put it simply, he is awful.

Bobby Crimmins did have a bad drop, however, which resulted in an interception for Pitt's White safety Ray Vinopal.

Yea Murphy is awful - he was bad last year at Florida to when Driskel went down. He does have the magical melanin though that Addazzio seems to require in his QBs.

Thanks for the info JC! I hardly watch football these days, and I don't even get BSPN. I'm happy to hear BC has 3 White WRs starting right now, although the black quarterback definitely sours the picture.
