This Wisconsin team has been consistently good the last 3 years, making it to the Rose Bowl and sending prospects to the league. However Bielema failed to smell the Roses and is now at Arkansas. Which means Gary Andersen will be running the show in Madtown this year. This is a veteran team with a lot of promise and a lot of studs to keep an eye on this year! 17 this year!TE Brian Wozniak,DB Kyle Zuleger, QB Joel Stave,DE Konrad Zagzebski, DE Jake Keafer, and LB Vince Biegel are key backups!

Offense

QB- Joel Stave So. 6'5 205

FB- Derek Watt So. 6'2 230

WR- Jared Abbrederis Sr. 6'2 188

WR-Jordan Frederick So. 6'3 210

TE-Jacob Pedersen Sr.6'4 245

LT- Ryan Groy Sr. 6'5 315

LG- Dallas Lewallen Jr. 6'6 309

C- Dan Voltz RFR. 6'4 300

RG- Kyle Costigan Jr. 6'4 314

RT- Rob Havenstein Jr. 6'8 340

*On defense this year the Badgers will be running out of a 3-4. They have a ton of size and athleticism in their front 7 I'm looking forward to seeing them wreak havoc! They have a lot of depth/flexibility so it will be interesting to see how they utilize the guys they have.

Defense
DE- Pat Muldoon Sr. 6'3 260/
Tyler Dippel Sr. 6'4 265

NT- Beau Allen Sr. 6'3 330

DE- Ethan Hemer Sr. 6'6 300

OLB- Brendan Kelly Sr. 6'6 260

Their main 4 man rush on defense is all big and athletic Seniors. Look forward to watching them wreck some sumos. Hopefully open some eyes.

Ya I'm excited with the switch of the Defense they have legit NFL size. Looks like they'll be trying to do something similar to Stanford scheme wise who also runs a 3-4 defense lead by Trent Murphy and Ben Gardner.

Its Pretty rare. The Badgers do have several former runningback turned safeties on their roster though: Leo Musso,Joe Schobert, and Michael Caputo. It would take some injuries/suspensions for these guys to see the field though. They have Zuleger listed as backup at both safety spots when reality he should be at CB the younger guys coming up are not proven..

I am a little wary of the new coach Gary Andersen. Hopefully he recruits like Bielema and Alvarez did. They both did a good job of recruiting in state and the midwest. This new coach had a black quarterback at Utah St.

They should be fun to watch this year though. I am hoping Abbrederris puts up big numbers.

I could be wrong, but wasn't Bielema more White friendly than Alvarez? Seemed like it wasn't until Alvarez left that Wisconsin started using White WRs and more Whites on defense and in general.

Hmm, yea you may be right Don. I do think that Alvarez's teams were more white than the average team though. It does seem that they both used the same formula - all white OLs and black RBs.

Former South Carolina QB Tanner McEvoy fell behind in the QB race, falling to third string. However, the Badgers are now giving him a shot at WR. This guy is 6'6" 220 with legit 4.5/4.6 speed. Normally this kind of prospect would be moved to TE but Wisco is the one of the few teams that won't. With another 6'6" receiver in Mark Andrews committed to Oklahoma, and McEvoy only a RS sophomore, we could see two VERY atheltic and long receivers dominating college ball in the next few years.

I think Wisconsin will be my "top team" for the upcoming season. White o-line, White front 7 on defense, 2 White receivers including Abbrederis who is a monster, a talented tight end and even a safety. Now if only The Badgers would break their ban on White running backs, I might actually become a "fan".

Unfortunately the new coach Anderson has recruited a black quarterback. Looks like Wisconsin will be on the decline until this bum is fired. He was a bad hire for Wisconsin.

in addition to the amazingly-White (in the modern era) starting lineup, Wisconsin has an abundance of White athletes on the opening game two-deep, including a lot of young talent at the skill positions.

freshman wideout Alex Erickson backs up the superb Abbrederis, meaning White Badgers hold 3 of the top 4 wideout spots (Abbrederis and sophomore Jordan Fredrick start) in the season opener.

all four tight ends on the two-deep are White men.

as has been stated on the defensive side of the ball, the Badgers start an all-White front seven. additionally, 5 of the 7 back-ups are White. an almost unheard of abundance of Cracker Power on defense.

in the secondary, sophomore Michael Caputo has earned the starting nod at free safety, but White freshmen hold BOTH back-up safety spots: Nate Hammon at strong safety and Leo Musso at free safety. Musso was an incredible tailback in high school, rushing for over 5,500 yards and scoring 93 total touchdowns in his three-year high school career. of course, he was never considered a tailback prospect at the collegiate level ...

Jimmy Chitwood favorite Kyle Zuleger has unfortunately been relegated to White Special Teams Demon for most of his Wisconsin career, despite possessing 10.62 100-meter speed. this year, though, it appears he will get the chance to return some kicks in addition to his normal duties of (spectacularly) covering kickoffs and punts.

without a doubt, Wisconsin is a team i will be cheering for this year.

The Badgers started former dual threat QB Tanner McEvoy at Safety this Saturday against Northwestern and by all accounts he did well. He's huge for the position 6'5 225!

I still don't trust this new Wisconsin coach - I think he is going to ***** this team up. He already recruited a quoataback and just moved a dual threat white QB to another position.

Apparently the move is only temporary for this year. He broke a small bone in his throwing hand so he hasn't been to throw like hes capable. Plus the guy has had 15ints for practice squad defense since the season has started. Pretty impressive athlete.
