Here are your white starters for The Pirate, Mike Leach this year. Leach had some white friendly teams at Texas Tech, including recruiting stars for the Red Raiders like Wes Welker, Danny Amendola, and Eric Morris at WR, Graham Harrel and Seth Doege at QB, Cody Davis at Safety, and Bront Bird at LB, to name a few. It remains to be seen if he’ll keep it up at Wazzu, however, as he’s still using a ton of Paul Wulf’s recruits yet. He’s brought in a few white players already, though. The Cougars will be running Leach’s trademark Air Raid offense again this year, as Leach’s teams have always done. Some white backups to look out for are: QB Austin Apodaca, WR River Cracraft, LG/RG John Fullington, C Zach Brevick, RT Jacob Seydel, MLB Jared Byers, and BUCK Max Hersey. The Cougars have started 9, 8, 11, 13, 13, and 10 white starters since 2007. A sad decrease back to 8 this year in a year full of white starter decreases. Another team with a max of four whites on the 3 deep defensive depth chart.
