OSU started 3, 5, 6, 5, 6, 7 and 6 Whites since '06. This year they appear to be maintaing there status quo by starting 6 white players. Gone is the highly recruited and talented Wes Lunt who transferred to Illinois. Both Senior Clint Chelf and Sophmore J.W. Walsh played very well last season. Chelf is slated to be the starting QB going into the season.

Players to watch for for include LT Michael Wilson, WR Austin Hayes, WR David Glidden, RB Caleb Muncrief. Their is no white depth on the defensive side of the ball.

Offense
QB Clint Chelf
WR Charlie Moore
C Jake Jenkins
RG Parker Graham
RT Daniel Koenig

Defense
LB Caleb Lavey

Oklahoma State is a team to keep an eye on...is there more white scholarship WR's here than any other BCS School?? Hoping to watch the plethora of white WR's bust the Mississippi State Defense like a wet paper bag next Saturday at 2:30 on ABC!

*Charlie Moore is a big play threat at 6'-2" 202...only player in OSU History to have a two 72+yd TD's as a WR(72 & 74)...also returns punts. Had 8-129-1 vs Iowa State...7-135-1 vs Kansas St.

*Austin Hays is capable of the big play; had a 54 yard TD last year...phenominal athlete...lightly recruited has impressed

* Lightning quick 5'-7" 185 soph. David Glidden (4.4 speed)...can also return punts. He shows a good burst and he has the ability to make people miss or outrun everyone....

*Blake Webb 4.4 speed had a 37 yard TD reception in Bowl Game vs Purdue...should get more PT.

DB-Zac Craig produces some nice numbers in his limited playing time...not even on the 2 deep?

In the 80's remember as a little kid Oklahoma State being the first college team to start an all black defense..led by coach Jimmy Johnson who went to Miami next to form THUG U..even the announcer hesitated at the end when reading the starting line-up's.

Sophomore dual-threat QB J.W. Walsh has been named the starting QB for Okie State. The Cowboys are using S.F. 49er plays and the pistol offense in an effort to use him like Kraepernick is used. I like it. From Weinieworld:

Oklahoma State plans to alter their offensive gameplan with sophomore QB J.W. Walsh locked in to the starting job.

The Cowboys will utilize fewer four wide receiver sets that fans have been accustomed to. This means there will be more personnel packages with three running backs to take advantage of Walsh's success in an option/three-back pistol offense. "We installed that last spring," offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich said. "It was effective back then, so we continued to work at it. We studied tape of the San Francisco 49ers, who ran it well with Colin Kaepernick. We tried to grab some film from that. They ran some of those exact plays out of that formation, so we just looked at a lot of their tape."

Another pay for play scandal is hitting college football. It makes sense that Okie St has this problem as the timeline for the programs emergence as a perennial top 10 team happened when this alleged scandal started. http://espn.go.com/college-football...-cowboys-players-describe-widespread-drug-use

Serves them right. OK State is located in Stillwater, OK, a relatively small town in the middle of nowhere an hour or so north of OKC. To properly "blacken up", they've used every pay-for-play trick in the book to bring in criminals from other parts of the country to endanger the town.

You might think that maybe they should recruit the white kids from OK, KS, MO, and TX, right? Wrong. None of those players are in the Rivals/Scouts/ESPN databases, and very few are "star" rated, they only have blacks to choose from, and you have to pay them to play in Stillwater.

Blake Webb was the star of the spring game, at wide receiver. Also a sprinter on the track team. Look for a breakout year in 2014.
