Yes, they just called a THIRD run by Leonard back (that I've seen- this kind of Division III-like AA football is hard to watch) for holding.

It's so blatant it's laughable.

not only does it hurt our players rushing stats, it doesn't help them get chances in the future, I am sure coaches see this happening as well and think "well if the White back does do well any big play has a good chance of coming back"

I mean the incentive would be to get a great player for cheap because he is overlooked, but if all their big plays are called back then what good can he do?

It would not totally surprise me if behind the scenes(at halftime) strict orders were given...something like "OK...Let you can let Leonard make ONE nice run...but there can be NO MORE...Is that understood or you will receive a cut in pay"...even the announcers did not see a holding on the last call....

Gruden said Tannehill was a "rare athlete playing QB, was a former WR in college"

or it is just bias by the ref like "no way he just made that run without a hold going on, he can't possibly have enough burst to hit the hole as fast as the real affletes", it seems like the announcers would have found some instance that could be called holding somewhere along the line, if there was a conspiracy for every big run.

No, the refs know that there's holding on every single NFL play. They know that whether the RB is black or white, there's holding somewhere.

It's frustrating because it's obvious that Leonard could be an effective runner in the NFL if he had ever been given a chance. He's a lot better then half the black scrubs that get to play.

Once again the announcers suddenly realize how good the blocking and play calling is when a White guy is getting yards.

With Rainey's run that's probably the end of Leonard.

Schiano would be an idiot to do that, Rainey had big run, doesn't change the fact that he can't sustain drives.

There was no chance of that Rainey run being called back for anything. Yep, Leonard now returns to his rightful position.

That should have been Leonards goal line carry. That's the thing they do for the black RB's that are moving the ball. Give them a shot at the TD. But that's the racial politics of the NFL. Leonard probably back to the 3rd down back?

I turned on the game after seeing that James was injured and its nice to see Leonard getting some plays but the holding calls are absolutely ridiculous.Leonard is looking good at least.

Damn it,Leonard averages 6 ypc on that drive and then the scrub gets to score.I'm really wondering how many more seasons i can watch this ****.

Naturally, all the good runs by Leonard where negated by affeletic holding or not. Then he gets into a rhythm running well. Takes a breather, then the affelet comes in and breaks a 30 yarder then TD.

Unfortunately Leonard came out and missed out on the big hole that Rainey got. That probably would have been Leonard's 30 yard run. Then again it would have probably been called back for holding.

Bigunrealitis running rampant on the board during this game. To be logically consistent, an order must have gone out before the game for James to pretend to be injured so that Leonard would get a chance to run on national TV.

Leonard has run well. For White RBs to thrive, they not only need opportunities, they don't need a crappy mostly sumo line to block for them.

Dike gym teacher Gruden pitched a tent after that Rainey TD

Gruden is a piece of sh*# and has been for years.I've hated that ahole ever since he killed Alstott's career by giving the ball to Pittman and "Caddy" instead of the best RB on the team, although i will admit that "Caddy" could have been a good RB if he hadn't destroyed both knees but Pittman was crap.

Great play there by Eric Page, why are blacks so often a liability to their team?

I think its ref bias, you can't deny that they are more strict about calling holding whenver a White back is in. I saw multiple instances of holding when Rainey was in, pretty sure the guy on the edge was held on the td run otherwise he would have never made it to the perimeter and scored.

or sumos try less to not get caught holding, or a combo of both
