Some potentially good news for Jets UDFA Ryan Spadola. In last weeks game, Santonio Holmes injuried his ankle and is expected to miss up to 4 weeks. Stephen Hill was also knocked out of the game with a concussion. He is questionable for Monday's game. That only leaves Jeremy Kerley who is a slot man, Clyde Gates who may have the worst hands in the NFL and recently signed David Nelson on the depth chart. This could be Spadola's chance to show his talent. At least this guy thinks so...

Also, as I mentioned in the white starter update, Brian Winters is the new starting guard.

Jets sign Sudfeld, but I wonder if they will cut Reuland the third string tight end to make space for him.

Crap! I was hoping Miami would sign him. Although I wasn't holding my breath since Jeff Ireland seems to be allergic to white tight ends.

Looks like Reuland survived getting cut, unfortunately Ryan Spadola did not. Various DWF (Jets) message boards are abuzz because he was shown the door after a great pre-season and one target -- dropped a ball in a heavy rainstorm. Many Jets fans assume he will go to the Patriots. It would not surprise me last week, except they just signed Collie, so that would be tough now to fit him in.

More than half the fans on these boards know the score -- didn't want to see him gone, given his potential, size and speed. That's how impressive he was in pre-season, even fools on DWF boards loved him this summer. Many felt it was a crime that awful Clyde Gates was kept instead of him.

Others are happy on these boards. We often "assume" all these message board posters are "DWF's", but there are a ton of barely literate black vermin on the Net, surfing for sports news 24/7. They are no doubt p!ssing all over him today, happy he is gone.

You know, the same "proud" black clowns that hate on every white athlete and white male, then spend the rest of the day with their pants wrapped around their ankles checking XXX porn, looking only for videos of blonde-haired, blue-eyed white women.

Isn't it great to be a "proud black man" in America?

Sickening. How foolish of me to actually think the Jets would give Spadola a fair shake. Idzik and Ryan run a blacks-only plantation and then intend to keep it that way.

It cracks me up how ****ty these teams are but the first guys to get cut usually happen to be white.. Raiders,Bills, and Jets will crash n burn with their qbs of the "future". As for Solomon I'd like to see Packers make a pro white move and maybe bring him bring. They still have no pass rush besides Clay. And Spadola has obvious talent just needs a chance and a QB that didn't have a noodle arm

It was just announced that Mark Sanchez was placed on IR after surgery for a torn labrum (shoulder). So now we are just an inevitable injury to Geno Smiff away from seeing Matt Simms take over the position. Of course, the Jets still have plenty of time to find a QB with "upside". AHDIW is available, Dennis Dixon is unsigned I think, how about Byron Leftwich? :becky:

All Reed needs to do is continue to linger downfield well beyond the wide receivers during those few games he's not injured, make a couple of interceptions each season on overthrows and rumble them back for 20 or 30 yards, and most media "journalists" and DWFs will still be calling him "an elite safety" even if he plays to age 50 (when he'll look like he's about 75) despite this rare "dis" from Weenieworld:

Ed Reed says he'd like to play two more years beyond 2013. As ESPN's Jamison Hensley points out, that's amusing, as Reed was constantly "contemplating retirement" when he was in his prime. Reed's play has sunk to depressing depths this season, so there's no guarantee he'll find a taker for 2014. The way he handled his hip injury and time in Houston won't help.

Geno Smith has been awful this year.

Tim Tebow would have played much better than Smith had he been given a chance.

I don't get it -- why wouldn't the Jets want to re-sign this gem?

ESPN New York doesn't anticipate the Jets re-signing free agent Kellen Winslow. Neither do we. It'd actually be a surprise if Winslow played another regular-season down in the NFL. His gas tank is running on E, he's facing possession of synthetic marijuana charges, he has balky knees, and he was also reportedly caught masturbating in his vehicle at Target. Winslow will turn 31 this summer and didn't make an on-field impact last season with the Jets.

31 years old and already an over-the-hill never-has-been. Wow. How many white TE's are just hitting their stride at 31?

Winslow took some flak by referring to himself as a soldier and comparing a football game to war, not a smart thing to say in post-9/11 America. Here he is showing off his high IQ: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I82BPA5QAaQ

This genius also blew out a knee trying to do some motorcycle stunts during the offseason. His father always seemed well-mannered and modest, apparently the son fell quite far from the tree.

Ed Reed has $50,000 in cash stolen from his car.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on...as-50k-in-cash-stolen-from-his-car-in-houston

3 possible inferences:

1) Ed Reed is a retard.

2) Human Growth Hormone (among other PEDs) is expensive.

3) The people who sell Human Growth Hormone do not take American Express.

Seriously, the guy is 35, and looks at least 50.
4) Ed could have been on his way to the strip joint to make it rain on some large rear-ends.

5) Ed could have been on his way to buy some gold and diamond encrusted jewelery, perhaps a "grill".

I partially joke but with the American ******* you can never rule out any level of arrested development buffoonery. I think your #s 2 and 3 could be likely or at least another illegal drug like cocaine, ecstasy, etc.

Hopefully the 13/14 season marked the end of the road for this non-tackling, coverage blowing, oft-injured, perpetually overrated, homeless looking, (likely) performance enhancing drug abusing, "first ballot hall of famer". Though I will say, he was a great center fielder.

I think we can go with "all of the above" and still have room for a few more. There is no legitimate reason to have that much cash.

Not too mention the Great Multicultural Empire of Diversity has made it illegal for anyone to have more then a few grand on them at anytime or it will be seized from them (for their own good).

Fifty grand is a lot of cash but old timers may remember the days when people actually paid for their things with cash instead of going into debt for the benefit of the tribe. I remember people buying houses with cash, cars with cash, it was the way things were done. A car salesman I know has some great stories of people coming in with a shopping bag full of greenbacks or pockets stuffed with enough $$$ to walk out of the dealership with a brand new ride. Of course in those days the chances of getting mugged were pretty low, now you get jacked for your sneakers.

Many NFL players also gamble in high stakes card games or shoot dice in private gambling parlors. I have read and heard crazy stories about players winning and losing up to 100K in these games. A Fraud was called on the carpet by Selig for gambling in private illegal games and still kept on doing it.

Reed could have also been paying for years worth of "anti-aging medications" and treatments. What I want to know is why does Reed look like he is 45 years old and not 25 years old.......:lol:http://www.propublica.org/article/cheat-sheet-the-tyson-gay-file
