Here are the starting whites for Jerry Kill and the Golden Gophers this year. The Gophers will be fun to watch with dual threat QB Philip Nelson at the helm, and a very white offense. The offense better be ready to go, because that nearly all black defense will not be stopping many of the Big 10 powers this year. Since 2005, Minnesota has started 11, 9, 10, 8, 10, 8, and 11 white starters. Look for it to drop back down to 9 this year. Some white backups are: QB Mitch Leidner, LT Jonah Pirsig, LG Tommy Olson, C John Christonsen, RG Caleb Bak, and RT Marek Lenkiewicz. I guess all those white players I thought that Kill was bringing to Minneapolis aren’t going to be there any time soon. It's very sad that the Big 10 will again be the "whitest" BCS conference this year, especially considering teams like Nebraska, Purdue, Ohio State, and Minnesota this year.
