and most likely countries in europe to use would be spain or italy with said culture of ped use and knowledge
.
and if sarms , tumi will only get faster over 100m come summer with there added increase
in speed endurance .
any way come on the italian stallion !!

On the one hand Tumi is young - he just turned 23 last week.
This is the time many white athletes physically mature and see significant improvement in their performances.

On the other hand, he was injured and didn't run at all last year. It is always suspicious when someone has a year off and then returns to competition significantly better than before.

Verdict: Inconclusive

interesting views guys .... plenty of food for thought ....and i reckon fair is fair , until caught or proven guilty ...and yep i reckon i will be rooting for him against any american or jamaican sprinter.... also i need more information on sarms ? :biggrin::arms:

I think it's funny that on this board more people are questioning 23 year old Michael Tumi than they are guys in their 30's like Dwain Chambers, Kim Collins and Doc Patton who all have similar times despite being old men. Funny how that works? Hell even Jimmy Vicaut has swelled up like he is from Yamaica.

I still remain confident that Tumi is not on anything out of the ordinary. He was a 6.64 guy just two year ago. That is not an impossible improvement especially at his age.

Guys get excited about this kid. How many times do we have a guy that is the fastest in the world even if it's indoors. The kid can become only the 2nd white sprinter to go under 6.50 and the world record of 6.39 might be possible in another year or two if he can improve his start. He is very smooth and powerful. His stongerst part of the race is from 20 meters on as he has great lift off the track. His start however like Lemaitre is very average at best. Improve that and Tummi may just hit the sub 6.45 range and maybe beyond! All I can say is that I'm a huge Michael Tumi Fan. Yes I'm on the bandwagon and there is room for More. Haha. Viva Italia!

It's not outdoor season yet even though a few countries have outdoor meets going on. South Africa is one of them and I found another young white sprinter that I had never heard of. His name is Hanno Engelbrecht and he won a race yesterday running a very nice time of 10.24 but there was no wind reported. If this race had no or little wind, that is a fantastic time for the kid. I hope it's legit. Gonna keep my eye on this guy and hopefully he can be the next Morne Nagel.


I'm looking forward the the 2013 German Indoor Track Championships. It will be broadcast live all weekend long. I expect to see Julian Reuss hit the 6.50's range finally. He is already qualified for the Euro Indoor Champs and he has all of the fastest 60 times among the german sprinters. Watch out for the young up and coming sprinter Patrick Domogala. He is my sleeper pick to take silver or bronze in the 60 and maybe even in the 200 meters. Chrstian Blum has pulled our of all remaining indoor races and fired his coach due to lack of form. On a sad note, Verena Sailer has the flu so she won't be running but she will still be in the Euro Indoor Champs. It should be a great couple of days Saturday and Sunday. I will post a link when it is available.

A nice win for Pavel Maslak in Stockholm at an international meet, with a time of 46.34. I think this kid is going to have a big break through this year....

yo , its ok to question white athletes re :doping ...we are all aware of the cheats coming out of yamaica and black america including black britain .... ......and of course i personally will be rooting for white athletes , for anybody on this site thats a given !!!!!!....but discourse is important i really dont think anybody is being overly critical , just inquisitive ...... knowledge makes for good interaction , blind faith no !!:thumb:

Julian Reus blazes to the german 60 meter title in a time of 6.56! The kid will go faster. He is amazing. Way to go Julian. Now on to the womens final where I expect Verena Sailer to win another national indoor title.

some good results from the Mountain Pacific Championships:

-Jonathan Cabral of Oregon took 1st in men's 60m hurdles - 7.77.
-Jenna Prandini also of Oregon took 2nd in the women's 60m dash - 7.34.
-Katie Nelms of Stanford, 2nd in the womens' 60m hurdles - 8.27.
-Elijah Greer of Oregon set a meet record in the men's 800m - 1:46.73.
-Sean Delfani of Arizona, 3rd in the men's 400m - 47.63 (same time as 2nd place)

Cas Loxsom with a new American record in the 600m - 1:15.42!
(now I hear it won't be a record because it was run on an oversized track. But still, super fast! Hope Cas can make some waves outdoors this season!)

For those of you unfamiliar with Laura Roesler, you'd do well to hunt down the old thread associated with her. In the meanwhile, she's looking amazing and continues to prove that she can compete at any distance she wants at the college level (note that she has run individual races ranging from the 200 to the 1500--how many collegians can say that?).

This weekend, she put on a show. First, they had her run the 1200 leg for the DMR (of course this is longer than her specialty, the 800). She defeated all the milers, including the great Katie Flood. Then they had her run her usual 400 in the 4 x 400. Naturally, crushed everyone at 400 just as easily, massively extending the team lead while running against 400 specialists.

She's a special talent. Olympic champion in 2016. You heard it here first.

A couple of notable results from this weekend:
Nick Efkamp of Iowa got 1st at the Big 12 Championships in the 400m with a great time of 46.25. He also ran 21.19 in the 200m.
Anton Kokorin of Arkansas (from Russia) ran 46.38 at the SEC Championships.
Definitely 2 guys to keep track of this coming outdoor season.

Marek Niit of Arkansas (and Estonia) had been a bit quiet this season, but had a very good performance tonight:
20.76 in the 200m and 46.35 in the 400m

Jeremy Wariner was the leading qualifier today at the US indoor championships. His time was 46.40.
I'm glad to see Jeremy is still running and hope he does well. But I am not expecting too much from him these days. Maybe he'll surprise me!

Jenny Surh with a new indoor world record in the pole vault. Outstanding. She has always been amazing and is probably one of the two best womens pole vaulters in the world along with Isanbayeva.

Wariner wins and looked pretty good.
His time was 45.82.
I'm not ready to say he's back, but at least this is encouraging.

Erik Sowinski, who earlier this year set the US record in the 600, followed up by winning the 800m US indoor championship title yesterday. Nice run, just beating Robby Andrews.

Meanwhile, Will Leer completed an impressive double--winning both the 3k and the mile--despite the championships being held at altitude.

shane crawford ( such a naturally gifted sprinter ).... took part in the usatf,s over 60meters ...really good to see him similar to barrett nugent get a chance as a white american to compete as a PRO.....well done shane !!!!and good luck to you buddy!!!!:amen:
