2012 Syracuse Orange

HC Doug Marrone leads the Orangemen back after a sub-.500 season of 5-7. The 'Cuse White starter count was a respectable 9 last year with 8 in 2010, 9 in 2009, 8 whites in '08, 7 in '07, 6 in '06, and 7 in '05.

On the offensive side of the ball, the Orange look to start QB Ryan Nassib, FB Clay Cleveland, RT Sean Hickey, LG Zack Chibane, C Macky MacPherson, TE Beckett Wales & LT Justin Pugh (working back from injury). Also seeing reps should be QB Charley Loeb, FB Mitchell Piasecki and TE Louie Addazio.

On defense, LB Dan Vaughan looks to be not only the sole White starter, but the only White to see any decent reps (other than mop-up time). On defense, the "Blackmen" are just that.

During the "Men of Black's" 42-29 loss to SoCal yesterday, QB Ryan Nassib went 30 of 46 for 322 yards w/ 2 TDs & 2 INTs + 1 rushing TD. TE Beckett Wales had 3 catches for 30 yards & TE Carl Cutler had 2 catches for 7 yards and a 5 yard rush.

On defense, LB Dan Vaughan had one tackle.
