Here are your few starting white Boilermakers this year. I think coach Danny Hope is pretty much a caste whore right now. Six whites starting at Purdue is inexcusable. The only thing Danny is Hoping for is an all black team. There are only TWO whites on Purdue's defensive two-deep, maybe three when JUCO DE Greg Latta arrives on campus. Coach Hope must think all those white defenders like Ryan Kerrigan or Logan Link over the years were the reason why Purdue has sucked so bad at times. No, it could never be the fault of those black defenders, could it? Apparantly not, as Coach Hope has recruited them in droves from Florida.

Since '05, Purdue has started 9, 8, 8, 9, 11, 12, and 8 white starters. Purdue is worse than Illinois this year. The only thing that's missing is Robert Marve leading the team, which could very well happen at some point this year. White reserves on the two deep to look out for are QB Rob Henry, LT Jack De Boef, C Cody Davis, and SS Landon Feichter.

some news on Purdue's incoming trio of white WRs

Already Gary Bush and B.J. Knauf have been banged up and missed large chunks of camp.
Purdue added another receiver to the injured list when senior receiver Tommie Thomas suffered a foot injury on
Thursday.

Coach Danny Hope wasn't sure if Thomas would need surgery, but
even if he doesn't have it, Hope expects Thomas to be out several
weeks.

Dolapo Macarthy also
was in a green jersey (no contact) on Saturday.

"(Saturday) and (Sunday)
are really important for us to get a lot of reps to the young receivers on our
football team to get a feel for guys like Danny Anthrop, Cameron Posey, B.J. Knauf. B.J. didn't
get a whole lot (Saturday)," Hope said. "I really like what I'm seeing from
Posey. He's very sure-handed, can count on him to make the play, he's smart, has
a real knack for getting open. Danny has done fantastic. He really catches the
ball well. He's fearless and hard-working.

"I anticipate those guys
having the potential to play early and often throughout the course of the season
if they continue to improve."
