State started 2, 2, 3, 5, 5 and 2 Whites since '06. LB Cameron Lawrence is a tackling machine (2nd in SEC in '11) and could lead the SEC in tackles this year. He is the lone bright spot on an unbelievably dark team.

The A&M Maroons have precious few Whites that will provide depth and those include RG Justin Malone, LT Joey Trapp, C Dylan Holley, and walk-on WR Sam Williams.

Between New Miss, State, and Southern, the Big 3 schools in Mississippi will have an inexcusable 10-12 Whites starting at the 66 full time positions this season (15-18%). You drunk White team fans in the Magnolia state had better wake up and realize that these schools only want your money. They don't want people like you on their athletic fields. Just grow a pair and quit supporting these teams; they have proven time and time again that they aren't "your team." Spend your energy, time, and money on something worthwhile. Quit feeding the hands that keep slapping you in the face!

Offense
C Dylan Day

Defense
LB Cameron Lawrence

That's the kind of demographics data that ought to prompt an angry letter to the Mississippi state legislature, if not the governor. I assume the colleges in Mississippi still receive some form of financial assistance from the state, and, therefore, are answerable to state authorities.
I'd write one myself, but any politician receiving it would just assume it's a joke and/or threat from an Arkansas "fanboy" seeking to cause havoc for their beloved football teams in the Magnolia state.

I agree with you, Riddlewire. I could be wrong but I would assume that even if the letter was from a Mississippian it wouldn't make any difference. They'd probably still laugh it off.

It's gotten to the point that I don't even want to read the SEC previews. I think Kaiser Soze who said that not recruiting Whites at all on defense is the next step to keeping alive a Caste System that grows more obvious and ludicrous with each passing year may be on to something.

That is certainly the direction they appear to be heading. It is the evolution of the caste system in regards to recruiting. We talk of the yearly NFL purging of Whites but this is a slow but sure attempt to completely purge Whites from college football (and thus the NFL). The recruiting services and coaches/recruiters are the ones making this happen.

Yes indeed this is inexcusable....even w/ the state of Mississippi being the blackest in the U.S.(not sure exact % since I believe minorities are under-counted)...their is plenty of opportunity with HBS like Jackson State, Mississippi Valley & Alcorn....someone needs to give an explanation! It should not be so out of proportion...West Virginia is probably the most guilty; with the most out-of proportion demographics.

Southern Miss had a whiter than normal Class in 12'...

Mississippi State may be getting the message with several white skill-players being offered in 13'(most out-of-state) as stated in Class of 13' thread...how many actually sign is another question?? Including a Commitment from one of the Top Dual-threat QB's Cord Sandberg from Florida.

This year expect Cameron Lawrence to possibly have some company with true-freshman LB Richie Brown who had OVER 500 Career Tackles in HS at 6'-2" 223 & 4.5 40 speed!
