LSU started 7, 6, 4, 5, 5 and 4 Whites since '06. They increased to 6 for 2012 which is on the high side for SEC stanards.
Les Miles just continues to find ways to win, without T-Bob last year making the snap and a few other saves by the few White players then they would not have made it to the SEC championship. They have a real quarterback now so no more option football for 2 yard gains, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Les continue the two quarterback system, and trying to insert a black quarterback even though the primary backup is White. Probably someone like Russel Sheppard who was severely hyped as a qb but has been playing WR. If he does then it will be more like in 2007 where Matt Flynn played the most with a black quarterback Ryan Perriloux took 3 or 4 snaps a game.
White reserves who may get playing time are
QB 17 Stephen Rivers, 6-7, 212, RFr
FB 43 Connor Neighbors, 5-10, 233, SO
TE 47 Tyler Edwards, 6-4, 235, Sr (will probably be used quite a bit with two tight end sets which they will be running more often this year)
LG 68 Josh Dworaczyk, 6-6, 301, Sr
RG 79 Matt Branch, 6-6, 287, Sr.
wlb 31 D.J. Welter, 6-0, 226, Soph
DE .98 Jordan Allen 6'6 252 Soph (may be used more in rotation as black dlinemen get gassed easily, saw action in 3 games last year, highly regarded prospect out of high school)
RB Jonathan Juneau isn't on the two deep but hopefully something happens to where he gets some time, he is a shade under 5'9 and reported in at around 200 pounds this spring, some fans want him to bulk up to play fullback but ran a 4.54 electronic time out of hs and ran a 4.43 at another camp which was hand timed and was named the mvp with overall measurables.a
also several White receivers and defensive backs on the roster, who knows if one will get a shot ever.
As for the starters:
Offense
QB 8 Zach Mettenberger, 6-5, 222, Jr.
TE 88 Chase Clement, 6-4, 251, Sr
C 64 P.J. Lonergan, 6-4, 305, Sr.
RG 74 Josh Williford, 6-7, 324,
RT 72 Alex Hurst, 6-6, 340, Sr
Defense
SLB 52 Luke Muncie, 6-3, 220, Jr.
