Here are your 2012 starting White Flashes for Kent State this year. Since 2005, Kent State has started 7, 8, 9, 9, 11, 10, and 12 white starters. Kent State will stay half white this year with 11 white starters. For some reason, I thought Kent State might have a drop off in white starters this year, but I'm glad to say I was wrong. :)

Some White Flashes who could see some playing time this year are QB David Fisher, WRs Chris Humphrey and Josh Boyle, TE Bryce Fackler, LG Josh Bitsko, C Tim Pizzuro, RT Max Plunkett, DE Nate Terhune, MLB Danny Gress, and WLB Nick Conrad. Look for Kent St. to be in the MAC Title race this year.

LG- Josh Kline

just got in and turned on the Kent State-Buffalo game ... for Kent State a couple of guys jumped out at me.

junior safety Luke Wollet is a good one. he's by far the best defensive player for the Golden Flashes, and he might be the best safety in the MAC. he's led the team in tackles both games this season, thus far, and he has a nose for the football. he picked off a pass on a tipped ball in the first half for his second interception of the young season, after he led the team with 4 interceptions a year ago.

true freshman slot receiver has a chance to be special. he's already emerged as a high-priority target in the passing game for Kent State. the kid is quick as hell and his hands are superb.

finally, sophomore wideout [url=http://www.kentstatesports.com/sports/fball/2012-13/bios/Humphrey_Chris]Chris Humphrey
is only listed at 6-feet, but he's long as a holiday weekend. if a guy could ever "look like an athlete" then it's Humphrey. he's smooth as good glass, so hopefully his physical tools will translate into a playmaker. as it is right now, he's firmly in the Kent State wide receiver rotation, but he's yet to make much of an impact.
