Florida has started 6, 6, 6, 3, 3 and 3 Whites since '06. Last season it looked like they would start just one White player, but two more ended up starting most of the season. Still, Florida remains one of the darkest teams in the darkest conference in the country.

The only Whites on Phil Steele's 2 deep for Florida are C Kyle Koehne, LG Sam Robey; MLB Dakota Wilson (4 deep), DT Nick Alajajian (3 deep), CB Ben Pea**** (3 deep), and FS Tim Clark (3 deep) are on the roster, but aren't likely to see the field unless a huge rash of injuries take place. As it stands, I'd like to see Florida lose every game.

The Florida Gators have become the "new" Miami U....

Some publications have Jacoby Brissett ahead of Jeff Driskell...when healthy Driskell is the better QB. I saw one that had C-Kyle Koehne 1st string...still this is sad.

Urban left a legacy...how many arrest have there been in recent years?? I'm sure they rank among the top! And how many of those players were using the word "cracker" to the Ohio State players in the Bowl game??

Is this why 2nd string LB Graham Stewart(family issues) transfered back to his home state/school U.Conn??

I reckon that this was never posted before. 6-4 250 pound, 5-star California supaman, injured in spring game in April. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoo...-de-ronald-powell-out-46-months-with-acl-tear

This was supposed to be the season Florida defensive end Ronald Powell -- the former consensus No. 1 recruit in the country -- lived up to his immense potential and began straight-up wrecking fools, as the kids say. But if that's going to happen, Powell's going to have to overcome a major injury setback that could cost him the entire 2012 season.

Powell's absence could be a huge blow to the Gator defensive line, and will be an even bigger one if Muschamp ultimately decides to redshirt the five-star crown jewel of Urban Meyer's much-lauded (and to this point, largely disappointing) 2010 recruiting class. Powell not only led the 2011 Gators in sacks with six, he picked up three more than any other returning Gator.

As a starting sophomore, a monstrous 6 sacks.. and he's never gotten more than 1.0 sacks in a game.

Good post, Deadlift! The pro-black hype is non-stop and ridiculous when you take a minute to think about it.

I'd loooove to see Vandy trump the "Flowerida G@yturds" in the SEC East final standings and beat their tails on the field.

Is Florida on their way to be the first team to start no white players? According to the depth charts I've seen, Driskel and Patchan are both in a battle for their positions against black players.

Vanilla, it could be, although I hate to think about it. CFN lists them as battling for the spots. Phil Steele doesn't list position competitions and has both of them listed as starters. I guess we'll know in a few weeks.

It's awful how bad they've become. I quickly skimmed over the roster and counted 74 players listed (I was probably a bit off, plus the 2012 class isn't listed) and only counted 14 whites. That includes the 8 special teams (LS, P, K). I didn't realize the original post basically listed every white on the whole roster...

That's for sure. Just a few years ago I wouldn't have thought these teams could get that dark. If current trends hold, a half-White SEC roster will be a thing of the past. I remember looking through the rosters of a few SEC teams around 7-8 years ago and finding at least a couple that were still half-White or better, but with the recruiting going in the tank even more since then, I don't know if we'd find one in 2012.

Matt Patchan will miss the debut game against Bowling Green, while Driskell will split minutes. I think we may witness the first zero-white starter game.

Florida's 2013 recruiting class features 8 whites now that former ND commit Alex Anzalone is headed there. Not only is this far whiter than any class they've had in recent years, but it's interesting to note they have 4 very high ranked defensive commits. Hopefully this small step is the sign of something bigger to come.

I count 6 in this Class...still a drastic change! To see 4 white players on defense especially..

DE's Joey Ivie &Jordan Sherritt

LB's Alex Anzalone & Matt Rolin......one time commitment to So Carolina(where whites don't play on defense anymore)... have 4 LBers in 13 Class already

QB Max Staver
OL Cameron Dillard

Did i miss somebody??

I love seeing the looks on the bandwagon Gayturd fans faces (who coincidentally are the same people who University of Miami fans back in the 80's) when their coal black team crashes and burns. Back in the 80's, there were literally ZERO Gator fans here in Miami. It wasn't until Spurrier and his merry band of affletes started winning in which the DWF's who were before on the Hurricanes bandwagon, jumped on the UF bandwagon. I personally couldn't care less about either of them. I grew up a BYU fan because I'm Mormon and they had plenty of white players. I remember rubbing it in the faces of all the UM fans here when BYU beat UM back in 1990.
