The descendants of the ancient Greeks would never have needed to invade superior countries like Germany, France, Britain, Canada, Australia and the US in search of work. Greeks who live in Australia and Canada in particular join hands with non-whites against the white majority. The reality is that a lot of Greeks are not European at all. Maybe that is why Spartan has trouble understanding why over the top boorishness is not acceptable to Europeans. Spartan might well be one of the anti-white Greeks who show up at Majority Rights and similar sites trying to disrupt all discussions. (He's certainly succeeded here. Sadly non-Europeans like Spartan are only capable of disruption and destruction as they lack the genetic tools to be creators).

His daughters are on the way out. They thought that they could still do it at Wimbledon, but thats not the case anymore.
What I will remember about them is that they never gave credit to their opponent when they lost, it was always because they played poorly, not that their opponent won fair and square. I wont miss them, thats for sure.
I never watched womens tennis for tennis, when I wanted to see tennis I watched the men, I only watched to see the beauties in action. With beauties like Kvitova, Lisicki, Wozniacki, Sharapova all young and improving, I feel like I will watch a lot more women tennis in the future.

I don't whether shock or disappointment is the way to describe federer's loss but I as well as other people are at a loss to describe this. To lose in the quarterfinals again is one thing but to lose after a blowing two set lead is another especially against an opponent he pretty muched owned prior to this. I always said federer had at least two more slams but now I'm not even sure if he'll even be in the top five next year. It is officially over for federer. His career is just not going to get better. An era just ended on centre court. The irony is that's where federer's greatness began. I truly thought he would win it all.

Djoko and Nadal are my two favorite tennis players of the "elite" class of players.

If Djoko fails against Tsonga, I hope Nadal gets the opportunity to play him in the Final, because I trust him on the big stage. I recall that Andy Murray recently beat Tsonga in a Final on the tour, but there wasn't the pressure that he would have now in a Major, much less it being Wimbledon. Murray does seem significantly improved, but until he can show the world that he can get it done, I will be wary of him going against the African on such a big stage.

Tsonga whupped Nadal in straight sets in the semis at the Australian Open in 2008, but lost to Djokovic in the final. The media fell in love with Tsonga's athleticism, charisma and room brightening smile at that tournament (calling him aMuhammad Ali lookalike, one of the highest compliments that can be given from their perspective) and all but christening him the new king of tennis, but this is Tsonga's first big win since then. Were he to beat Djokovic and Nadal to win Wimbledon it would be a huge upset, maybe one of the biggest ever given how dominant those two are right now. Bottom line, I'm not worried about Tsonga.

I had doubts about whether sharapova will ever win another major but this final match is really her's to lose. After she had those two surgeries on her shoulder I didn't think she would ever retain her previous form because those surgeries took away at least 70-80 percent of her serving power. Hopefully she is on her way back because she can really sell the sport with her voluptous figure. I mean who would you rather have to endorse the sport. Somebody who is very easy on the eyes ( you don't have to be a tennis fan to watch sharapova) or somebody who can crack the mirror [edited for posting guidelines violation].

I still think djokovic will win this even though this is his least favorite surface. But i would to see murray win this just so he can get the british press off his back once and for all. He has a very good chance to pull of the upset against nadal. I'm kind of hoping he does. As for federer I think he should get some type of mma training just to to get him mentally stronger. He may have lost a step physically but mentally I think he lost at least 2-3 steps. In my opinion he seems passive whether out of lack of passion or just plain disinterest. In other words I don't think he is hungry anymore. He says he is but I have doubts now. Obviously I can't read his mind but I think federer still thinks his talent and skill are enough to overcome his opponents. Nadal like connors back in the day goes in there expecting and even wanting a streetfight. Nadal expects his opponents to hit back. Federer doesn't. Edited by: Don Wassall

Roger should have sent him packing the other day. He had the showboat down two sets then faltered. Fed may have lost a step and is not quite as explosive but I think his conditioning needs to be improved. Tennis is very demanding. Fatigue often decides the winner of a tough match.

Petra Kvitova wins. She has free swinging ground strokes that are impressive. She uncoils on the forehand that leave opponents frozen trying to guess which way she is going to it the ball. I don't want to go overboard on her future success, think Ana Ivanovic, but I can see her winning quite a few events.

Sharapova's serving let her down for the most part. The effectiveness and pace of Kvitova's shots were really Maria's undoing. Maria has no plan B in that situation except to swing for the fences at an even greater rate - it's low percentage tennis.

The Nadal-Djokovic match should be a doozy.

P.S. - I see were Ana Ivanovic has hired some prominent coach. Some chap named Nigel Sears. Good luck to her.

Kudos to McEnroe for saying that it is good for women's tennis that players can't just return after a long absence and win it all.
