Here are the projected white starters for the 2011 team. They started 7 whites last year.

LG-Gary Bardzak
C-Moe Petrus
RG-Steve Greene
RT-Adam Masters
TE-John Delahunt
FB-Mark Hinkley
QB-Mike Box

It looks like 8 total white starters and an improvement of 1 from last year. The defense is coal black though.

Athlons college football magazine and Phil Steele dont even have Nick williams wr/kr listed. Athlon dosent have him among their top 20 kick returners and Steel has him as a 2nd team all Big East as a kick returner this year. All after leading the country with a 35.5 average and 2 tds last year. Wow. Maybe if he were black they might remember who he is?

They would've had a starting white RB too in Robbie Frey, but he left, even when he was pretty much all UConn had at RB...

Max Delorenzo is already penciled in as the 2nd string rb for 2011 by Phil Steele.

Frey has transferred to Kutztown, a Divison II school.
