It was the Kevin Love Show again today. He lead the TWolves to a close win over the Golden State Warriors. What did he do you ask? All Kevin did was score 37 points while pulling down 23 rebounds. No one in the NBA can put up double/ doubles like he can. He is a superstar. David Lee had 20 points and 10 boards in a losing effort.

Does anyone know the situation with Chris Kaman? I know he just came back from an injury but is he no longer the starter or are they just bringing his minutes up slowly? DeAndre Jordan is getting the starts still.

Lights out in London, Nets 137-136 3OT over Raptors.

Bargnani - 35 points, 12 rebounds
Vujacic - 25 points (6-9 3pt's)

I hope the next All-Star 3pt. Shootout (assuming the LOCKOUT doesn't last long) will have white participants again, it's simply a travesty why there were none this year, when there are so many white shooters around...

The following were NEVER invited..

Matt Bonner
Steve Novak
Andrea Bargnani
Sasha Vujacic
Ryan Anderson
JJ Redick
Danilo Gallinari
Kyle Korver
Beno Udrih
Manu Ginobili

Bring in Kyle Singler, Jimmer Freddette, Ben Hansbrough, and a bunch of others from the NCAA ranks, and that's too many white shooters to ignore.

Kevin Love is ferociously chasing that elusive 1,000 rebound season for a White man.. he's getting close!

Love is averaging over 15 rebounds a game. If he plays out the rest of the year he should have the most rebounds for
a white player in decades. David Lee got 13 a game last year, and Bill Laimbeer got 13 a game one year.
Can't think of anyone else. Maybe Dave Cowens back in the late Seventies.

Chris Bosh is proving that he ISN'T a superstar... he has always been an inconsistent rebounder and not much of a shot-blocker. A young player like J.J. Hickson has a much-higher ceiling and more passion..

Bosh has always been a "phony Superman!" Imagine the Miami Heat if they had a Bogut, Kaman or Kevin Love (they could have had him, but they drafted Beasley at the #2 spot..).

WOW Boston actually has 3 white players, and they are all getting serious minutes...

Nenad Krstic (starter C)
Tory Murphy (backup PF)
Sasha Pavlovic (backup SG)

San Antonio has gotten kinda whiter too...

Manu Ginobili (starter SG)
Matt Bonner (backup PF)
Chris Quinn (backup PG)
Steve Novak (backup SF)
Tiago Splitter (backup C-PF)

The Rockets...

Luis Scola (starter PF-C)
Chase Budinger (starter SF-SG)
Goran Dragic (backup PG)
Brad Miller (backup C)

The Mavericks...

Dirk Nowitzki (starter PF-C)
Peja Stojakovic (starter SF)
JJ Barea (backup PG)
Brian Cardinal (backup PF)

JJ Barea is having a career season (9.2 points, 3.7 assists), he's vastly improved his ability to shoot, penetrate, and dish the ball, and defensively, he's been a doing a great drawing charges.

And the Spurs, Celtics, and Mavericks are three of the favorites to win the championship.
Along with, of course, the Lakers who have Pau Gasol, Steve Blake, and Luke Walton. Not as white as they used to be but they still have a white all-star and a backup white point guard.

I didn't know that the Celtics signed Sasha. If so, that's a good pickup. They also signed Carlos Arroyo.

He's been a beast since joining Phoenix. He needs to start.

Yeah, Gortat is an athlete that could start at Center or PF.
_______________

Yesterday, Chris Kaman had 23 and 10 in an OT-loss to New Jersey. Kevin Love had 24 and 12 as Minnesota defeated Utah.

Spencer Hawes had 14 and 10 for Philly! Nenad Krstic had a big game for Boston, 15 and 16, I think.

Deadlift, is there a reason Kaman isn't starting? They have some black center starting right now. I hope it's because they are bringing him back slowly.

Because of the "fragile black ego?"

Seriously, DeAndre Jordan is likely viewed as the "better defensive player" -- while the coaches' recognize that Kaman is "vastly superior on offense." They might also want to "get younger" by eventually dealing Kaman.. that's a suspicion of mine.

Unbelievable! You start a young afflete who has no offensive skills whatsoever over an All-Star center.

Kevin Love can now start a new double double streak grabbing 11 rebounds to go along with 22 in
a loss. Unfortunately the Wolves aren't winning. Hopefully they will gel better next year.
While some think Jimmer Fredette is a better fit with an uptempo team, I disagree and think a team like the T Wolves
is better for him. They have a legit center, the all-star Kevin Love and some scorers.
I don't see Love, Darko, and even Beasely being up-tempo guys.

They could draft Jimmer and trade Rubio for more talented pieces.

Rubio to the Clippers for Chris Kaman, Eric Bledsoe, and a future number one pick would be a good trade.
That trade would give the Wolves two good centers to play along side Kevin Love and it would allow Fredette to be a primary scorer. Bledsoe would be the scorer and change of pace guy off the bench, Wesley Johnson could be the solid overall starting guard, and hopefully Beasely could turn into a poor man's Carmelo Anthony.

That would also be a good fit for Rubio, complementing Blake Griffin (and DeAndre Jordan and Eric Gordon to a lesser

extent.)

Another question to ask is where will Ben Hansbrough fit in?
I think a good fit for him would be in Chicago as a complement to Derrick Rose.
He could be the Bulls' new version of John Paxon (also a Notre Dame grad).
He could start at the two with Rose at the one to form a small, but very deadly backcourt.
Or he could come off the bench to be an ideal sixth man. He would be an anchor to a great bench that would include

the promising White Asik, Kyle Korver, Taj Gibson, and Ronnie Brewer. With Hansbrough the Bulls would go 10 deep.

However, in crunch time, I think they would play Rose and Hanbrough in the backcourt and Noah/Boozer up front with a defensive ace at the small forward spot or Kyle Korver for offense.

Another great up-and-coming team is the Oklahoma City Thunder and he would be a great backup there or a good starting guard if they went small with a Westbrook and Hansbrough back court.

The best fit for Hansbrough if he wanted to start at point guard would be to get drafted by the Miami Heat.
He would be a good complement to the Big Three and he is the outside shooter and tough-minded winner that they need. Ben would be the ideal fourth option in the starting lineup, and could also be the primary scorer when they put in backups to give the Big Three a rest.

Those are the best options for Hansbrough I think.

In other news, Luke Harangody had 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks as the Cavs won tonight.
When given the chance Luke has played very well.

At this point it looks as if the best center in the NBA, Chris Kaman, is no longer a starter. As a result of injuries he's been replaced by an afflete that averages a whopping 7 points per game.

</div><div>Did I just read that right? Chris Kaman is best center in the NBA? He's not even the best center in Los Angeles. I'd take Bynum before Kaman. He's not in the same galaxy as Dwight Howard, Andrea Bargnani, Brook Lopez, or Al Jefferson.</div>

Yes, you read that correctly. Kaman, when healthy, is the best center in the NBA. He's a 20point and 10 rebound guy. You bring back quite a few memories of a little troll who once terrorized these boards.
