Jake Long was rated as top pass protecting tackle in the league by Pro Football Focus. Grats!

Weenieworld obviously accepts this claim at face value -- note how the dweeb writing the squib below madea comment mocking his own pathetic lack of athletic prowess -- but I sure don't. I doubt Marshall can break 4.6 and he hasn't even been in the league that long. His average yards per reception was only 11.1 and 11.8 the past two years, and he had just 3 TDs in 2010. Yet he's still routinely called a big-time playmaker. What he is is a large-sized possession receiver who screams and pouts if the ball isn't constantly thrown his way.

According to his personal trainer, Matt Gates, Brandon Marshall (stab wound) has resumed running sub-4.5 forty-yard dashes as he prepares for the season. Marshall is going through the same regimen he undertook prior to the 2006 NFL draft, and he's reportedly posted a "max speed" of 22.5 MPH on a treadmill. (We're lucky to hit 9.0.) Marshall is currently training outside of South Florida. He's attended no Dolphins player-organized workouts this offseason.

Dolphins' picked up Jason Trusnik

Is this competition for A.J. Edds? Miami also released Channing Crowder, and I hope they don't re-sign him.

The latest excuse for Brandon Marshall is that he is bi-polar. Ive known quite a few people with bi-polar and they don't have violent episodes

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sport...randon-marshall-0801-20110731,0,2240679.story

"After sitting down with a psychiatrist for 15 minutes in 2001 she diagnosed me as bipolar disorder, handed me a bag full of drugs and told me to come back next week for more."

It only took 15 minutes to diagnose?

Edds is going to be one of the top outside linebackers for years to come, dude is like a safety in coverage. Hope to Trusnik on the field as well.

Another sumo whose just fat, lazy, and doesn't care.

John Jerry - G - Dolphins

The Miami Herald refers to 2010 third-round pick John Jerry as a "bitter, bitter disappointment."

The 73rd overall pick in last year's draft, Jerry reported to his second training camp "soft and unprepared," and he has no shot to open the season as a starter. Jerry is currently listed as Vernon Carey's backup at right guard.

As a Junior at Ole Miss, he was protecting Jevan Snead from his right guard spot and he was handling EVERYBODY. He played hard, which is rare for a "heavier" lineman. That was the season that Ole Miss was GOOD.

As a Senior, they moved him to right tackle and he kind of went under-the-radar, even in the pro-Caste age.

The geniuses in Miami cut LB A. J. Edds after he flashed dominating potential during the preseason. He's smart, fast and highly athletic, which obviously wasn't enough to keep him even as a backup on the wonderful, all-black defense that held Tom Brady to under 600 yards passing last night.

And the scouting department really hit a home run when they selected Daniel Thomas in the second round to be their new feature back. This dynamic talent with limitless upside has been so good that he was inactive for the season opener, while the previously retired immortal bonehead Larry Johnson -- whose last good season in the NFL was in 2006 -- was active.

bad news for PeytonHillis, good news for the Dolphins

Dolphins signed DE Igor Olshansky to a one-year contract.

The Cowboys released Olshansky at final cuts rather than pay him $3.34 million as a backup. He'll likely make closer to the veteran minimum in Miami while providing depth with Tony McDaniel (hand) out. According to Pro Football Focus, Olshansky graded out as a fine run defender in Dallas last season.

You beat me to it does it matter to some of you that Olshansky is a Russian Jew. Sadly for me it does not because even they aren't immune from the caste system either. I would much rather have an Olshansky on my team than a Jackson or some other criminal. Any way he should help the Dolphins, and dumb ass Jerry Jones Jones should of never cut him because he is one of the strongest players in the league, and can really help against the run. However he was cut I am sure in favor of some affroletes incredible athletic potential I'm sure of it LOL.

I thought this would be interesting. Look at Hartline's targets. Rotoworld.

Miami Dolphins

Brandon Marshall: BYE-13-9-6-11-9-3 (51), Davone Bess: BYE-3-12-5-3-6-3 (32), Reggie Bush: BYE-2-2-5-3-5-5 (22), Brian Hartline: BYE-6-2-2-0-3-2 (15), Anthony Fasano: BYE-2-2-1-3-4-2 (14), Charles Clay: BYE-2-1-1-3-2-4 (13), Daniel Thomas: BYE-1-5-dnp-0-0-1 (7)

Matt Moore was extremely efficient in throwing for 3 touchdown passes while throwing for just 160 yards and not allowing one receiver to top 69 yards. That was Charles Clay by the way who I mentioned here a couple weeks ago. He grabbed a touchdown as well as having the most targets of his season. He’s still not a pickup in standard leagues but worth a grab in deeper leagues as a dual TE/RB threat!

Brandon Marshall bobbled a touchdown catch which would have made his 1 reception for 5 yard line look a lot better but alas. He should be ok in games Moore needs to throw more.

Matt Moore just doesn't throw to Hartline. Chad Henne getting injured was the worst thing that could have happened to Brian. I expect Hartline to be a career backup after this season.

The pea-brained millionaire is at it again:

Brandon Marshall was briefly detained at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Wednesday, Nov. 30, by Broward County Sheriff Office deputies when he was accused of fleeing to evade paying a $142 cab fare. Marshall claimed it was a communication issue due to the cab driver's accent, and eventually ended up paying the fare. He was then released from custody.

What a pathetic human being. He'll be flat broke a few years after his career is over. The part that kills me is he blamed the "misunderstanding" on the drivers accent. I'm sure the driver could understand his ghetto ebonics babble as well.
