The Bucs have to be the worst 4-2 team in the history of the league. Great to see Shipley back and outperforming T.O. and Ocho despite getting only 6 targets. TO and Ocho got 13 and 16 targets, respectively.

Jackson sucked horribly averaging around 2 ypc but he managed to break off for a long 68 TD run and now John Kuhn who outperformed him otherwise doesn't get anymore carries?

an early carry for Gerhart. he picks up 5 tough yards between the tackles on the second play of the game when Peterson went out due to a problem with his helmet.

and for Green Bay, Jackson fumbles on his first carry. maybe Kuhn will get more touches tonight ... i say that, and they give him the ball from the fullback spot for a wasted play. i'd like to see how Green Bay would do with a jumbo package in the I-formation with Kuhn at tailback and Korey Hall at fullback.

Minnesota's "rookie third down back" (description courtesy of Al Michaels) Gerhart stonewalls a Green Bay blitzer, but Favre still nearly throws a pick to kill the drive.

here's hoping for a big play by Kuhn, Nelson, or Swain.

a terrific block by Kuhn and the Green Bay Snow Plow paved the way for Jackson's short touchdown run. Packers go up 7-0.

apparently Gerhart is only allowed on the field if the Vikings need an extra blocker ... but for a guy who was said to be a poor blocker coming out of Stanford, he's sure doing a fine job thus far in picking up the blitz on third down.
in a similarly frustrating vein, now Percy Harvin gets a carry ... *mutters*

will Gerhart ever be an integral part of the Vikings running game? it doesn't look like it, unless of course Peterson (and another half dozen or so black backs) suffers a serious injury.

Aaron Rodgers is looking very good tonight. sadly, he's not looking toward Nelson ... who has spent most of the game thus far on the sideline.

a patient Gerhart picks up two despite there not being a hole. he's got 3 carries for 18 yards so far.

yep Gerhart averaging more than Peterson, has 21 yards to Peterson's 24, and Peterson has almost double the amount of carries.
